Siswa dan siswi SMA Negeri 6 Lhokseumawe dibawah Bimbingan Ibu Saidah S.Pd mempraktekkan cara membuat sabun cair pencuci piring, praktek ini bertujuan memberikan keterampilan kepada siswa dan siswi agar kelak memiliki jiwa kewirausahaan. Kegiatan ini adalah salah satu dari sekian banyak keterampilan yang diajarkan dan tercakup dalam materi peelajaran PKW ( Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan).

Praktek membuat sabun cair pencuci piring ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kimia SMA Negeri 6 Lhokseumawe. Dengan bahan praktek yang disediakan oleh sekolah, para siswa dan siswi berhasil membuat cairan pencuci piring yang berkualitas baik, tidak kalah jika dibandingkan dengan produk yang selama ini dijual di pasar.

Para siswa dan siswi SMA Negeri 6 Lhokseumawe memang diarahkan untuk memiliki keterampilan, sehingga mereka di masa yang akan datang diharapkan akan menjadi generasi yang siap menghadapi segala kondisi perekonomian. Sebagaimana yang kita ketahui bahwa saat ini begitu sulit untuk mencari pekerjaan. Dengan skill yang mereka miliki maka diharapkan mereka kelak justru menjadi orang yang membuka lapangan kerja agar dapat merekrut tenaga kerja di tempat tinggal mereka masing-masing.

Walaupun SMA Negeri 6 Lhokseumawe bukan sekolah kejuruan, namun tetap memperhatikan kemampuan siswa dan siswi nya dalam mempersiapkan skill khusus sebagai modal menjalani masa depan kelak. Agar mereka nanti tidak hanya menjadi penonton atau hanya jadi kacung di negeri sendiri.
