EL ROCÓN | ¡Volvimos a Borotá!

<p><center>Vengo a contarles sobre un paseo que hicimos el año pasado a un lugar muy bonito y accesible ubicados a las afueras de la ciudad de San Cristóbal en el estado Táchira, Venezuela.</center></p><hr>

<p>En esta ocasión nos organizamos bien y coincidimos todos en el mismo bus, menos uno que llegó ANTES, ¿pueden creerlo? Es casi un milagro.</p>
<p><div class="text-justify">Llegamos a <strong>Borotá</strong> a golpe de 10 y de inmediato nos dirigimos a la zona del pueblo que da con la entrada a la montaña, el mismo camino que tomamos en diciembre para llegar a <a href="https://paolapernia.wordpress.com/2016/12/22/las-antenas/">las antenas del cerro El Gallinero,</a> hasta un punto donde nos desviamos para subir este nuevo cerro que fuimos a explorar y el cual nos tomamos la libertad de nombrar <strong>El</strong> <strong>Rocón</strong>, porque&nbsp;todo el terreno está minado de grandes rocas grises.</div></p>

<p><div class="text-justify">No había un sendero definido así que Armando iba de primero <code>(no aprendimos nada de </code><a href="https://steemit.com/spanish/@paolapernia/la-receta-para-el-caos-guarin-2-0-parte-i"><code><strong>Guarín 2.0</strong></code></a><code>)</code> abriendo paso entre los matorrales, eran muchos y me aruñaban los brazos pero a medida que subíamos se iban haciendo más pequeños.</div></p>

<p>Llegamos a las primeras piedras, no habíamos escalado muchas cuando ya el plan no me parecía tan inteligente, no veía a donde íbamos a llegar y quería regresar antes de que se pusiera peor, pero después de un par de <em><strong>“¿Ya va a empezar?”</strong></em> y <em><strong>“¿No quería explorar, pues?”</strong></em> los muchachos me convencieron de seguir subiendo.</p>

<p>Era el día más soleado que habíamos tenido en semanas, definitivamente no me preparé para eso, pero lo bueno es que tenía luz bonita para tomar muchas fotos.</p>

<div class="text-justify">Luego de algunas espinas, pasos medio complicados y mucho calor, llegamos a unas piedras grandísimas que hay en la cima del cerro; estando allí nos dimos cuenta de que a lo lejos había una cruz… <strong>¡¿Eso significa que hay un camino decente para llegar hasta arriba?!</strong> Todavía no lo sabemos pero tal vez algún día vaya a averiguarlo, además no me molestaría volver a esas giganto-rocas.</div></p>

<p><center><em>¿Me van a decir que no le queda bien el nombre?</em></center></p>
<p><div class="text-justify">La idea original era subir y bajar por el mismo lado para luego caminar hasta el bosque que está donde terminan los potreros, peeeero no, <em><strong>“ya estamos aquí, lleguemos por detrás”</strong></em><em>,</em> siendo esto geográficamente imposible me empecé a quejar de que por el otro lado de la montaña no íbamos a llegar a ningún lado y que no tenía sentido bajar por ahí, pero de nuevo los que iban al frente ganaron y nos metieron por “la espalda” del cerro, donde todo era más empinado, lleno de cenizas y árboles muertos que poco servían de apoyo, está de más decir que mi cámara se quedó en la seguridad de mi bolso durante todo este tramo.</div></p>
<p><div class="text-justify">Me quejé hasta que me aburrí y después de unas cuantas cortadas y caídas llegamos a la “barrera” de árboles (vivos) que separaba el cerro del camino principal al que queríamos llegar, los muchachos abrieron una trocha entre la selva hasta encontrar un sendero bien marcado que había junto a una cerca, que supongo es usado por los encargados del terreno, para finalmente llegar al camino despejado, amplio y perfecto que nos llevaría hasta el bosque.</div></p>
<p><div class="text-justify">Mientras todos esperaban a que un amable señor nos recargara los potes de agua yo seguí caminando y llegué de primera al bosque, seguía tal y como lo recordaba, honestamente temía que no fuera así, uno nunca sabe cuándo se le antojará a los dueños del lugar acabar con todo lo bonito, porque sí, creo que es un terreno privado… Está rodeado de cercas con alambre de púas.</div></p>

<p><div class="text-justify">Llegamos directo a comer, ya era pasado el mediodía y el hambre se hacía sentir. Para mi sorpresa el bosque estaba poblado por zancudos, <strong>¡muchos zancudos!</strong>, en la visita anterior no lo notamos porque estuvimos caminando y no pasamos mucho tiempo ahí, así que no hubo forma de anticiparlo, pero ahora ahí estábamos...</div></p>

<p><div class="text-justify">Caminé un poco alrededor para tomar más fotos, pasamos otro rato descansando y &nbsp;nos fuimos casi una hora después de haber llegado.</div></p>

<p><div class="text-justify">El regreso fue igual que siempre, paramos en una bodega a refrescarnos, caminamos por el pueblo hasta la parada con las miradas extrañas de los locales sobre nosotros y esperamos el bus que nos llevaría de vuelta a la ciudad, que en este caso fue casualmente el mismo que nos trajo al pueblo en la mañana.</div></p>

<p>Gracias a<strong> Borotá</strong> por recibirnos de nuevo y gracias a mis amigos, son ellos los que me sacan de mis ataques de racionalidad que hacen que crea que lo que hacemos es innecesario y me recuerdan el motivo del por qué estamos ahí en primer lugar.</p></div>
