Imagine if we give **Demon Slayer** a Sannin theme where *Nezuko* is evil. So now *Tanjiro* doesn't have to cure her but stop her. Sounds pretty interesting right?

Well, something similar is going to happen in our new demon historical dark fantasy action anime named **Sword of the Demon Hunter**. It's one of the great anime that is going to air this season. And about which we are going to talk openly today. Because this is the anime that deserves more recognition and more viewers.

Starting with the most important point—its animation. Because you must have noticed that for some time now, bad animations are ruining even anime with good stories. So, it was very important for its animation to be on point, which it is. That is why, despite not getting the initial hype, it attracted a lot of viewers.

Although obviously, its animation is not at the level of **Demon Slayer**, but still the rawness in its animation is quite right. Like the way it has animated its fighting sequences, they are very smooth and raw.

Because of this, it will attract you and keep you, but what is required for you to stay connected with it? Yup, it's a story.


## Story Overview

Where if I give you a little overview of its story by avoiding some major spoilers, then *Jinta*, whose sister is a half-demon, due to which his father beats him a lot. There is a history behind this, too, which I am not going into details about. But yes, due to all these tortures, one day, Jinta runs away with his sister from there. Because now the matter was getting over, and he could not see his sister traveling like this.

Due to this, *Jinta* and *Suzune* run away from home. Where now *Jinta's* life had only one sole purpose - to keep his sister happy, to protect her, at least for now.

Where then, a samurai named *Motoharu*, you can say, takes both of them with him to his home and adopts them.

And talking about *Motoharu*—so she was a *Miko* Guardian. Now, what is this, Miko? So basically, in their village, *Kajuno*, Itsuki-hi-me, or Miko was worshipped as a Fire Goddess. She was a priestess who prayed to the Fire God.

Because there was a belief that the prayers of *Miko* protect their village. And from whom? So obviously, it is a demon, and from other diseases, etc.

Because of this, apart from some top officials, no one else could meet *Miko*. So *Motoharu* was the guardian of this *Miko*, who was also *Motoharu's* wife.

Because of this, after her death, their daughter *Shirayuki* becomes the next Itsuki-hi-me. And *Jinta*, whom *Motoharu* himself was training, becomes the guardian of Shirayuki, our next *Miko*.

Where these people grow up like this. During this, many points come in between, which are also very important for this story. Like the development in *Jinta* and *Suzune's* relationship, the development and boundaries in *Jinta* and *Shirayuki's* relationship.

After all these things, finally comes that night, which turns the lives of the people of *Kajuno* village and *Jinta's* life upside down. And from that night onwards, our *Jinta's* journey as a demon hunter begins.

So what happened that night? Well, I am not telling you this. You will have to enjoy it yourself in episode one.
