Mother nature's life purpose lessons.

How's about a nice hard surface for nap time? I have a friend Silver-mountain goat, @johannpiber that will explain to anyone how to nap on a rock 😁

**What is your purpose in life?**

This question arose this morning and there were a lot of uhm and ahs. Such a simple question, but so difficult to answer in a simple way. So yes, fortunately I do a lot of introspection on my regular walks in nature and I know my purpose in life.
Can you name your purpose in 4 or less words?

Nature teaches us to take time out for ourselves as our worlds are not going to end if we step aside to rest for awhile.

I have another friend that creates great successes right after his powerful naps, but with all respects to him, I don't want to be accused of namedropping here.

Some of our ribs (ladies) also understand the essentialities and necessities of daily naps for beauty purposes and all such things 🤣

And finally yes, couples are also encouraged to take regular naps together, as long as the guys do not get up to any funny stuff. Like wanting to play rugby with his partner for instance during the supposed nap time 😇

Many won't get this but you are welcome to ask the Austrian mountain goat what the code word "rugby" means. He will simply tell you that the man wants to scrum with his lady 🤣

So now, you are going to ask me what my purpose in life is???

Four simple words; "To make people smile"

Simply look at all of the emojis in this post as a clue and you will understand that my main purpose in life is to get others to smile. This really makes me happy and if I can get a laugh out of someone with my silliness, all the better reward for me.
My mom was in tears many times, as it was very difficult to raise a family of 5 on her own with no support except for her hard work. So whenever I could get a smile from her through the tears it made me very happy.

So yes, life is certainly not a cake walk and we all have had many and will continue to face the dark times. But a smile is always a balm even in the darkest of times.
Smiles cost nothing and it is good medicine methinks.

Haha, we have narrower mountain peaks where a whole family of mountain goats would find place for a nap 😎 
So, all you have to do is to lay down all together and if the rock is too small, push the others from the rock 🤣

My purpose in life in 4 words? <em>I live to die</em>
And besides that my purpose and the purpose of all other humans is that we have to produce humans who might one day be smarter than us and forego luxury in order to save the earth. I hope this doesn't sound too pathetic, but that just crossed my mind. The animals are living that way already and we have forgotten that.

No, I will not explain what the word "rugby"means, because there are also children here and my posts have never been tagged #NSFW before 😂

I know quite some people who can take a power nap for 10 minutes or half an hour, but I can't. I can either really sleep or be awake, but I'd love to be able to just close my eyes and nap for a couple of minutes to feel refreshed after it.

Now I hope I've made you smile a little bit too 😉

I'm happy that I could make you laugh, my friend 😃

We all live to die one day 😂 and I didn't mean I want to die. Actually, I have no plans to die in the near nor the further future :)

I have never thought I could sleep during the day, but since a few years I can sleep when I lay down at home after nightshift, but I try not to sleep because I will be awake in the middle of the night. But naps? as said, I'd love to be able to take a nap, just like you :)

Good morning @papilloncharity.
Last night we had a little taste of what you deal with on a regular basis, no electricity. 😥
At about 9:00 PM last night, some nasty weather moved into the area and with the first bolt of lightning, the lights went out.  That was all I needed to hit the sack. When I got up at 5:00 AM there was still no electricity and it was time to start the generator, but just as I was pouring some gas into the generator, presto, the lights came back on.

When it comes to your purpose in life, you've got me smiling every time I get a chance to sit back and enjoy your blogs and comments. More times than not, laughter also ensues.

Hahaha, so you had a slight taste of our powerless efforts over here my friend.
We cannot complain, as have a roof over our heads and warm beds, but imagine what those unfortunate souls living in tin shacks have to endure. At times they are switched off for weeks in the middle of winter.
Just yesterday 200 of those shacks burned down again, as to say hot people make fires and it is very dangerous in our strong winds. Thankfully we have emergency support units that supply blankets and food but it is a real terrible thing to have to go through.

I hope that your problem was fully restored and glad to know that you are prepared for the emergencies with a generator.

I like your description of your purpose in life. "Love and be loved" is a great motto.

Glad also that I can keep you smiling and laughter is always good medicine as you know.

My mom was my hero!
