<p><div class="pull-left">https://steemitimages.com/DQmYRM9s1o4PLVbKaffoZDaH3mHJSTY9QvUrZLfLoK6iZnA/image.png</div> Here is another weekly Gridcoin project stats update where I look at the project chart developments and highlight an interesting aspect. This time it is the RAC output development of project <a href=" http://srbase.my-firewall.org/sr5/ ">SRBase</a> after a mandatory BOINC version change.</p>

<p>Since 13 December, the SRBase project team has updated their BOINC servers to distribute only work to computers with at least BOINC version 7.1 [<a href="http://srbase.my-firewall.org/sr5/forum_thread.php?id=922">1</a>]. For most participants this is just a formality, upgrading the software to the latest version after which new work arrives automatically again. But for Pomegranate, who is a major contributor to the project for team Gridcoin, this is an issue because he is using a special BOINC version which can’t be upgraded easily.</p>
<strong>So what has been the impact to the RAC output for team and the earnings per 1k system RAC?</strong>
<p><div class="pull-right">https://steemitimages.com/DQmRvLMKzW7mmrJikMGYxQ6LgwuX5FY3e4jGnAX1TzuP4KQ/image.png <strong>Chart 1</strong> - [<a href=" https://boincstats.com">2</a>]</div> Just after the new BOINC version requirements, Pomegranate’s RAC output was at 4,818,000 or 46% of the total team output, which has now declined to 976,000. Chart 1 presents Pomgranate’s RAC output development in the last 3 weeks [<a href="https://boincstats.com/">2</a>]. If nothing else would have changed, team Gridcoin’s RAC output would have been 3,838,000 points lower today. </p>
<p><div class="pull-right">https://steemitimages.com/DQmdG99cyKsE3isVnCU1nPfNz9Wqpj9AHhNiUauiGycQqun/image.png <strong>Chart 2</strong> - [<a href=" https://boincstats.com">2</a>]</div> If we now look at the overall team RAC output, it declined until 28-Dec after which it has stabilised (Blue line in Chart 2). The obvious reason for this is that team Gridcoin attracted new members and machines during this period. I have deducted Pomegranate’s RAC output from the total team output (green line in Chart 2) to show that the RAC output (excl. Pomegranate) has increased with 1,776,000 during the 3 weeks. As a result, the output decline has been limited to 2,062,000.</p>
<p>There is also a positive side to the RAC output decline. Due to project magnitude redistribution over the team members, the earnings per 1k system RAC has increased in the last 3 weeks by 25% from 0.0956 GRC to 0.1192 GRC [<a href="https://www.gridcoinstats.eu/">3</a>]. This is of course a nice advantage for those on the project.</p>
<p>And here is the table of GRC and USD earnings per 1k system RAC plus the charts for all whitelisted projects. The definitions per indicator can be found below the charts.</p>

<p><strong>Definitions</strong><ul style="list-style-type:circle">
  <li>Recent Average RAC = The total amount of RAC produced by all systems within the Gridcoin network.</li>
  <li>Team RAC vs Overall RAC % = The proportion of RAC output team Gridcoin has produced as part of the overall RAC for the project.</li>
  <li>GRC per 1k system RAC = The amount of GRC you will receive for a system per 1000 RAC points. 
<strong>Example</strong>: You have a system which is running Rosetta@home with a RAC value of 3500. According to the chart on 30-Oct, you should gain 3.5 x 0.42 GRC = 1.47 GRC per day for this system.</li>
  <li>USD per 1k system RAC = The amount of USD you will receive for a system per 1000 RAC points.
<strong>Example</strong>: You have a system which is running NFS@Home with a RAC of 4700. According to the chart on 30-Oct, you should gain 4.7 x $0.29= $1.36 per day for this system.</li>
