At this stage, I mostly invest in a wide range of asset classes for the preservation of capital, purchasing power, and income.  These days I typically shy away from "trading" per se.  However, I still like to read charts and provide technical interpretations of the price action.  In a small but meaningful sense, I have found that "not" having skin in the "trading game" tends to keep my analysis more objective vs. biased to a particular outcome that I might personally profit from.
