<center>  ☳ A few days ago there was a nice thunderstorm in our area in the evening, with a high rate of lightning. I couldn't leave the house because of the children, but I used the roof window to take a few pictures. <i>Vor ein paar Tagen gab es am Abend ein schönes Gewitter in unserer Gegend, mit einer hohen Blitz-Rate. Wegen der Kinder konnte ich das Haus nicht verlassen, aber ich habe mich ans Dachfenster gestellt, um ein paar Bilder zu schießen.</i> ☳  ☳ Of course, you can't just wait for something to happen and shoot then - by the time you trigger the lightning bolt is over. So I set the shutter speed to 2 seconds, set the focus to infinity, used the window frame as a tripod and shot on luck throughout. <i>Bei einem solchen Wetterphänomen kann man natürlich nicht einfach draufhalten - bis man ausgelöst hat, ist der Blitz schon vorbei. Also habe ich die Verschlusszeit auf 2 Sekunden gestellt, den Fokus auf unendlich gestellt, den Fensterrahmen als Stativ genommen und durchgehend auf gut Glück ausgelöst.</i> ☳  ☳ I was able to catch few lightning bolts that way, but I'm sure there could be more! I like the inclusion of Ride The Lightning! Lightning is one of my favorite things to see photographed... but unfortunately, it is also one of the most difficult things to capture and ride! Great job! Keep up the awesome work and thanks for sharing!
