**Excel for ALL** is an Excel community based on the Hive blockchain where you can ask questions, share knowledge, and network with other Excel and Spreadsheet users.

Being new to the community I would like to invite you to do an introduction post.  Tell us a little about your self, your likes, and dislikes.  How good are you at Excel?  Do you use Excel Power Tools or even Power BI?  Whats is your favorite Excel resource?  We would love to learn more about you!!! I am sure many of you have questions about the Hive blockchain.  Well, it's a novel place to set up an Excel community that's for sure.  But it offers some amazing benefits over traditional communities such as on Facebook, Linkedin, or any other centrally owned platforms.  Being Decentralised, you have the security that you own your content. The Hive Blockchain offers immutable free storage of content, which can be accessed from a number of Apps. 

Why is this important? We seen it with Facebook in the past.  Do you remember as a community owner you could actually contact your community members?  Rules then changes and community owners lost a lot of power, including any ownerships of contact lists made via the platform.  At least Google+ allowed community owners to download a contacts list before pulling the plug on communities many had spent years building.  Things like this cant happen on Hive. 

In addition to immutable free storage of content, the Hive blockchain also allows users to reward each other by way of upvotes.  There are many factors involved here, which I won't go into now, but these upvotes often carry a value, which is paid out in cryptocurrency (Hive).  So by being an active, helpful community member could end up earning you a nice little bag of cryptocurrency.

The Hive blockchain is owned by its users.  Each and every member of this community has the ability and the right to hold a stake in the platform, and holding stake gives many benefits (including giving your votes some value). However, this is more the detail of the blockchain than the details of this community, so we will save it for another discussion.

As this Excel community grows, we will be setting up a direct reward structure for active participants. Nothing has been finalized yet, however, we hope to be rewarding things like (but not limited to)
