What you lack is patience, I'm not sure of your age demographic but lack of patience seems to be a trait more inherent in the younger crowd or those less experienced with life.

<li>sucked a whale dick for a vote</li>

I have

<li>engaged my audience</li>
<li>tried to respond to every reply I get</li>
<li>found good niches to write in</li>
<li>created compelling content/interesting original content</li>
<li>upvoted and commented on my followers posts</li>
<li>provided meaningful comments on the posts of higher level stemians</li>
<li>worked the networking angle to the best of my abilities</li>
<li>always tried to elevate any user beneath me to my level or better</li>
</ul>


The mindset that you cannot make it without bot up voting is a mindset destined for disappointment and failure when your work is not able to stand upon its own quality and be successful. 

If your posts are not getting traction, go back to the drawing board and figure out why. Change your approach, try a different niche, or improve your game. Take a writing class etc. Do not assume that simply because you think something is interesting that the rest of the platform will. Most importantly be kind, courteous, engage your audience and don't be a dick. 

I get lots of haters all the time and I'm respectful, go point/counterpoint and still upvote their comment. The key to success here is good content (have something to offer that people want) and be a people person, prove that you can benefit them as much as they can benefit you.. 

But the assertion that you need to buy votes here to make it is absurd and as stated above can be proven by the preponderance of the evidence to be patently false. As stated I have gotten this far without purchasing a single upvote or sucking a whale dick. In fact more often than not I catch whale downvotes lol, and I still keep climbing the ranks..
