Hi readers!@pearlyshell here again.
**Before school starts again on August 11, I wanted to enjoy the last few days of my vacation. Life is sometimes stressful, and school can be very tiring. So I thought, why not take a break and breathe fresh air before all the pressure begins?**

**So yesterday, **August 7**, I went to a peaceful place called **“the Shell”** in Compostela. I went there with my cousin and one of my good friends. It was such a simple trip, but I really had a great time. This blog is Part 1 of my experience — because I took so many pictures and had so many small, funny moments to share!**

**A Simple Day, A Happy Heart**
When we arrived in Compostela, the air felt calm. The place was not too crowded. It was quiet, and the view was relaxing. The wind was soft, and the sky was beautiful. Just the perfect day to feel peaceful and free.
We went to the area we call “the Shell.” I don’t really know why it's called that, but the name is cute, and it feels like a secret spot for relaxing. Maybe not many people know this place, but that’s what makes it special.
I looked around and smiled. This is what I needed before going back to school — a simple escape.

**Photo Time!**
Of course, I brought my phone and took many photos. I just love taking pictures when the background is nice. The light was perfect, and the place had a chill, aesthetic vibe.
I posed in many ways, from cute to serious to funny! I felt like a model. My cousin and friend were laughing while taking my photos. Sometimes I made awkward faces, sometimes I looked fierce (feeling fierce lang charrr 🤣), and sometimes I just laughed while posing.
It’s nice to keep photos like that. Not because I want to show off, but because I want to remember how happy I was in that moment.
**Modeling + Marupok**
One of my favorite parts of the day was when I saw a wall with the word “MARUPOK” on it. I laughed so hard! I told my cousin, “Uy picturi ko diri! This is so me HAHA.”
I stood beside it, tried to pose like a fashion model, and made a serious face like I’m in a drama movie. Then right after, I laughed again. It was so funny but also cool at the same time.
That picture was my favorite for the day. It’s just so real. Life is like that — sometimes strong, sometimes marupok. 😅 But we keep going, and we laugh at ourselves.

**Just Enjoying With My Friends**

After the picture-taking, we sat down under a tree. We talked and laughed. We didn’t use our phones much. We just talked about anything — school, plans, crushes, funny stories.
I looked at my cousin and my friend, and I felt thankful. I’m glad I spent that day with them. These small moments are the ones that really matter. Not expensive trips, not fancy restaurants — just pure bonding.
We also joked about how we will survive the upcoming school days. “Mag start na baya klase! Di pa ko ready uy!” one of us said, and we all laughed. Same feeling.
**My short trip to Compostela really made me happy. I felt calm, I felt free, and most of all, I felt thankful. It was a simple day, but it gave me big joy.**
*Before going back to reality, this was a perfect pause. A small reminder that life is not just about studying or working — it’s also about enjoying little moments with people you love.*
Thank you for reading my blog today! I hope it made you smile. 🥰
If you are also feeling stressed, maybe this is your sign to go somewhere quiet and take a break — even just for one day.
**This is just Part 1 of my Compostela story. Part 2 will be posted tomorrow! There’s more fun and more photos to share. Abangan ninyo haaa!**
*Love you all!*
Stay safe and enjoy life.
