<p>Good morning!

I started the day with a good thing :) on the roulette of fortune that I receive in the mail once a day I won a small prize. Those little winnings make the day, after all, I didn't do anything in particular to earn them.

Here in Caracas I woke up a little late and it was raining, that causes a lot of fear, largely because many times when it rains the electricity service is lost, we are in Venezuela, a tropical country, so you can imagine that it rains every so often. Anyway, according to the news, several sectors of the capital city of the Republic were without electricity service, but luckily in my sector it only presented fluctuations, but the service did not go away.

Here one appreciates the bad service, because it turns out that this is preferable to not having any service. It reminds us of the old adage that "In the land of the blind, the One-Eyed is King", it can be incredible how we got used to being the country with the most miserable economy in the world in a couple of decades, when at the end of the 20th century we were not so bad and at the beginning of the XXI century we managed to have the highest economic income in the history of the Republic ... well, it is a result of very extreme populist policies, inept administrative political management and with too much shadow of corruption, nepotism and various venial forms to do things.

The rain is over and I still have electricity, that makes me quite happy and gives me a little hope that today may be a good day.</p>

<p>¡Buenos Días!

Comencé el día con una cosa buena :) en la ruleta de la fortuna que recibo por correo una vez al día gané un pequeño premio. Esas pequeñas ganancias alegran el día, después de todo, no hice nada en particular para ganarlas.

Acá en Caracas desperté un poco tarde y estaba lloviendo, eso causa bastante miedo, en buena medida porque muchas veces cuando llueve se pierde el servicio eléctrico, estamos en Venezuela, un país tropical, así que puedes imaginarte que a cada rato llueve. En fin, según las noticias, varios sectores de la ciudad capital de la República estaban sin servicio eléctrico, pero por suerte en mi sector solo presentó fluctuaciones, pero no se fue el servicio.

Acá uno agradece el mal servicio, porque resulta que eso es preferible a no tener ningún servicio. Hace recordar el viejo adagio de que "En tierra de ciegos, el Tuerto es Rey", puede resultar increíble como nos acostumbramos en un par de décadas a ser el país con la economía más miserable del mundo, cuando a finales del Siglo XX no estábamos tan mal y a inicios del Siglo XXI logramos tener los mayores ingresos económicos de la historia de la República... bueno, es un resultado de políticas populistas muy extremistas, de manejos políticos administrativos ineptos y con demasiada sombra de corrupción, nepotismo y diversas formas veniales de hacer las cosas.

Terminó la lluvia y aún tengo servicio eléctrico, eso me alegra bastante y me da una pequeña esperanza de que hoy puede que sea un buen día.</p>
