Today is an anniversary of the publication of Moby Dick (1851), is currently the best-known work of Herman Melville, but at the time, when publishing it in London and during the author's life, it was his worst failure. The novel was titled at a start "The Whale", but a month later was edited in New York and it was titled as we know it until today "Moby-Dick, or, The Whale" or just Moby Dick. <BR> <br>
It is something curious, this author published various stories of adventures and travel, inspired by his experience in the first part of the 1840s in a whaling ship, but over the years he increased the complexity of his writings, up to a point In which the metaphors of his works could not be understood by his contemporaries. Certainly that art is a free thing and it is about expressing something, but for communication of such an expression to work is needed to have an interlocutor, it is necessary to adjust the speech to the participants or we will have to see us talking to the void, waiting for it Our message reaches the right receivers to understand us... I think that was what happened to Herman Melville, he finished his life with a strong feeling of defeat and impoverished, but I really think he did not know how to read his time, despite having created a novel that over the years was recovered by the following generations and claimed as an excellent work of North American literature. <br> <br>

Hoy es aniversario de la publicación de Moby Dick (1851), en la actualidad es la obra mas conocida de Herman Melville, pero en su momento, al publicarla en Londres y durante la vida del autor, constituyó su peor fracaso. La novela se titulaba en un inicio "The Whale", pero un mes después fue editada en New York y se le tituló tal como la conocemos hasta el día de hoy "Moby-Dick; or, The Whale" o simplemente Moby Dick.<br><br>
Es algo curioso, este autor publicó diversas historias de aventuras y viajes, inspirado en su experiencia en la primera parte de la década de 1840 en una nave ballenera, pero con el paso de los años fue aumentando la complejidad de sus escritos, hasta un punto en que las metáforas de sus obras no lograba ser comprendido por sus contemporáneos. Ciertamente que el arte es una cosa libre y se trata de expresar algo, pero para que la comunicación de tal expresión funcione se necesita tener un interlocutor, toca ajustar el discurso a los participantes o tendremos que vernos hablando al vacío, a la espera de que nuestro mensaje llegue algún día a los receptores adecuados para entendernos... creo que eso fue lo que le pasó a Herman Melville, él terminó su vida con un fuerte sentimiento de derrota y empobrecido, pero de verdad que creo que no supo leer a su época, a pesar de haber creado una novela que al paso de los años fue recuperada por las generaciones siguientes y reivindicado como una excelente obra de la literatura norteamericana.<br><br>
Bueno, en asuntos personales, comento que he estado tranquilo, le enseñé a mi hermano hoy en la mañana un juego en la blockchain en la que estoy participando y se sacó una cuenta para participar, está iniciando, así que vamos con calma. Por desgracia intentamos arreglar un detalle en la nueva batería de mi celular para poder usarla y hacer trabajar el teléfono que ya me estaba pidiendo cambio de batería, pero resulta que terminamos raspando de mas un lateral de la batería y comenzó a oler a productos químicos... eso es mala señal, puede implicar que rompimos la batería y que su contenido se está derramando, si intentara usarla en ese estado es muy posible que explote o se me incendie el celular... en fin, que perdí la batería y el dinero que costó, no puedo hacer nada, mi hermano se siente fatal, pero yo no lo culpo, él es hábil para hacer reparaciones, así que si yo hubiera tratado de arreglar la batería de seguro que también la habría dañado, así que no me quejé de lo que pasó y estoy pensando como hacer para conseguir otro celular, en verdad que no me gusta cambiar los aparatos a los que estoy acostumbrados, pero esta vez me toca comprar algo para poder tener de nuevo comunicación por celular y sus aplicaciones.<br><br>
En fin, que no es un mal día totalmente, pero ciertamente que pudo ser mejor si no hubiera arruinado la batería y me quedara si poder usar el celular mas por ahora. Te deseo que estés bien y nos podamos leer otra vez en un futuro cercano.
