Meditation on the sand.
It is a small experiment in creativity, you choose a word, search a free resource site for the image or photograph that results in a list, and then write a short narrative about it.

In order to ensure that the choice of the word that will generate the image will be random, the online tool will be used: https://randomwordgenerator.com/
For this occasion the word was chosen: Position

She is standing in the sun while I am in the shade.

I see her assume a yoga posture and begin a series of gentle, rhythmic movements, in tandem with the waves of the sea and the sound of the waves crashing against the sands of the beach. I can feel the brackish odor and iodine-laden air around us, the exuding heat of the sun reflecting off the sands around us.

"Will it take long or am I ordering some drinks from the service?" I asked him from where he was sitting.

"Ask for a couple of fruit drinks, no sugar in my case" she replied without fluttering or stopping her beautiful movements.

It's kind of funny how you can tell me not to drink without mentioning it directly. Well, I'm not a drunkard, but it's okay for you to tell me directly what you want anyway.

She and I met recently and it is pure chance that we met in this same hotel. I came for some work conferences and she for a rest and pure tourism. We have motives as dissimilar as our personalities.

I am a man of interiors, artificial lights, financial balances and very attached to communication technology. She is a lively beauty, who takes care of her health and her body, a person of the outdoors, of open fields and a carefree life.

Our origins are also very different. I am a nobody who tried hard, took advantage of every opportunity that was close by and managed to move up socially and economically. She is an heiress, I don't know what family or consortium, but she is the type that has enough of everything to not worry about anything.

However, she is very modest, discreet with her expenses and very low consumption. Treating yourself like a trip and other luxury expenses is something you rarely do. But, right now, I'm quite glad that chance brought us together.

We are at the airport waiting for a taxi. It was simple coincidence that the local noticed that we were both going to the same hotel and suggested taking us, I suppose she wanted to make a single trip and charge two clients, that bothered me a bit, but she accepted before I spoke and then she took my arm to go and board the vehicle.

I was amazed, but so was the driver. She took us quickly and in silence, that was very strange for me, she approached me and snuggled a little next to me, began to speak very softly near my ear and explained that she had been bothered by the "Viveza Criolla" shown by this driver. That term was used to describe all the variety of traps, shady arrangements and various corruptions that the locals were assiduous to perform.

I played along and in a whisper asked her what her plan was. She smiled at me almost like a child and said: "One trip, one payment. It doesn't matter if you are a passenger or a couple, if you count as a unit, then you cannot charge twice."

I smiled at the mischief of this woman, it was something simple and it didn't cost me much to pay, but it seemed funny, also, although I tend to be suspicious of strangers, she did not set off my alarms.

We got there and I paid, the driver was a bit irritated but didn't say anything. We parted on entering the hotel. He didn't expect to see her again. I attended the conferences and I still had a couple of days off that they gave me as part of the trip in the company. Something this rare was not going to waste it.

That's when I found her again, the hotel was big and it wouldn't be strange if we didn't see each other again, but we did. After that, the coincidences continued and we decided after a dinner together that we could well spend my last day of rest walking together and sharing time.

That night, she helped me pack my suitcase, that was something very intimate and rare. I must admit that she had made me nervous and asked a colleague to do some research, which is why I learned that she was rich from birth. She never mentioned it or asked about my wealth level or my job.

Even when he did not ask, I told him the reason for my trip and the work I was doing, I made it clear that these expenses were above my income level and that it was an unusual situation for a level worker. half like me.

As she was leaving, she told me that as a child she visited a meditation community and lived there for a while, she learned to value things differently from people in her social environment. She said goodbye and smiled at me. Tomorrow I have to leave first thing in the morning, the closing of the room will be effective shortly after breakfast. I feel like I'm going to miss her, but I don't want to do or say anything weird, like ask her to stay with me tonight.

Weeks later, fully involved in my work, I received a message from my peculiar friend. I was about to travel to my town and I was wondering if I could host her. She already knew that I investigated her, so I know she can afford a hotel ...

Of course I said yes, I don't want to admit it, but I feel like I'm very happy to see her again. I feel that those coincidences that brought us together were almost magical. I am a pragmatic and realistic man, but she has a "something" that makes me feel that Magic can exist.
