I finished reading the web novel "The Princess Wei Yang", in original 锦绣 未央.

I had started reading it in Spanish, then, as the translation was stopped, I continued reading it in English and, as they also paused the translation, I managed to finish reading the story to the end on the original author's Chinese site at http://www.shunvyoudu.org/

It is an entertaining story of intrigue, strategies, revenge, and mature themes, with some very descriptive chapters on the violent torture and murder techniques of old. She has stories of romance and drama that make her bearable and manage to keep her curiosity going.

It seems to me that the characters have a credible evolution, it is not a fantasy of super powers, although a couple of strange things happen and one of them has to do with the ability to be reborn in one's own body but jumping into the past for many years.

I like that the protagonist, who is a young woman at rebirth, is not unbeatable or invulnerable, but since she is aware of that, she takes care of herself and plans the best she can in each circumstance, always trying to leave a way of escape in case of May all your plans fail She doesn't always manage to protect what she wants, but the losses she suffers are understandable in the context of the story.

The final stories of the novel, in which things that happened many years before the rebirth are told, are a delight and give many explanations that were really needed, but I don't see that there would have been a way to put them into the central plot of the novel. story without creating a problem in the narrative.

For my taste, it was a good story and I enjoyed it.
