# Processing dirt soil

Mining for gold is actually not that hard, it’s more of a marathon than a sprint. It’s about finding paydirt and processing as much as possible from it. The more paydirt you process, the more gold you mine.

Now, translate that to Hive and it’s communities. The paydirt is already here. It’s your posts, comments and those of others. The more you process of it, the more Hive and HBD you will mine. And you do that by posting and curating. The better the paydirt, or in this case, the better the quality of your posts and those of others you curate, tne more Hive or gold you will mine.
