Nice post, this highlights the subtle censorship that google is carrying out on a daily basis. 

Google would argue that these results are the most relevant or popular to people.

I would argue that these can be easily manipulated and thus like the mainstream media, "tell people what to think about".

I recommend duckduckgo.com to everyone, it's not perfect but you can still find a few independent content creators, articles or stories.

In addition to my previous comment i kind of think it would be nice if (@ned or someone?) removed google search from steemit & replaced it with it's own search engine, something that could find the good articles on steemit that google is hiding.

It seems like most people pondering questions about Steem must be coming from the trading space and also Ethereum.

The ERC20 token is also popular for EOS but in that case it's true.

Google , facebook,  instagram,  twitter are anti decentralized system, they are fast losing their control over social media and like African leaders who love to remain in power as if it's their birth right they are trying to fight dirty.

You can expect google to be a little biast but wait till the BTC price goes up and you will see these questions change.

I am personally not muslim but I really like the halal question and the fact that it has been declared ok for the muslim community in general to buy... this is a huge potential market

it just gives you the wrong information in the search, and very deliberately.  I think I go and make this post too... then lot see what wrong info come up there :(

@penguinpablo it isn't that Google is negative about Bitcoin. The predictive model is based on past queries. Those are legitimate concerns as everything related to crypto and blockchain is still fairly new and unregulated. Also this gives you great insight on what content we should produce next ;) For isntance, you can use the question "is Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme?" and list ten reasons why it is not. So you use the negative connotation to prove the Bitcoin is good. 

The top companies are BEHIND in blockchain innovation and also the human race does not like to accept change. Both will come around soon because the adoption phase is next and they will have no choice.

I have to admit that it took some time to understand steemit and STEEM. Personally I am starting to get it but still I have some much to learn about the platform and it is very interesting to see where this all will take us! With the recent "good person token" news we are living very exciting time here on steemit!

What about STEEM?
Steemit uses the evil tracking, datamining and at times seemingly POW mining Google as its search engine, instead of Duckduckgo.

It is not a surprise, given what its technical manager thinks:
