Sweden's mobile data shows less social distancing than lockdown countries
Despite the continued success of Sweden in their rational and proper handling of a coronavirus threat, the media won't let up on how "disastrous" it is. The whole time, they've claimed Sweden was doing horribly. Life is ruined. It's a disaster.

Then you go look at Sweden. Is it a disaster? No. It's like as normal. People walk around, go to the beaches, go to restaurants, hardly anyone wears masks, people don't social distance. Life is normal.

Meanwhile, the media praised tyranny as "responsible" governance to control populations. People have to stay 6 feet apart, wear masks, not go to restaurants, not see their relatives, stay locked out of red zones, prevent people from working, destroy economies, etc.

Sweden did screw up, as most places, in that they didn't actually protect the vulnerable while letting the younger healthier population develop natural herd immunity. So they have a higher death rate, as everyone does, compared to how things could have been. But people in Sweden always had their lives. Their lives weren't controlled and ruined in many cases by their government, contrary to other nations.

Where would you want to be living now? In Sweden or in government control that doesn't change a damn thing regarding death rates. Lockdowns don't work, according to 5 studies that show no effect. Masks don't work according to years of studies.

One of the recent claims of "why" Sweden has actually become a disaster, contrary to what some media deceivers are saying, is that they socially distanced. That's "why" they didn't get the fortune-telling Imperial model 30 thousand deaths or more. And that's "why" they have 585 deaths per million compared to the UK with it's harsh lockdown and measures with 643 deaths per million.

But did they social distance? A bit, voluntarily, and less than other countries.

Google mobility data has been looked at, and it shows less social distancing comapred to others countries with strict lockdowns:

As you can see, Sweden had early on the least social distancing.

Sweden also kept the highest recreation and retail activity, as well as transit activity:

Yup, Sweden did things so poorly that their population was the least affected by government tyranny these past 8 months, since everything was a recommendation by their government, rather than edicts and laws with punishments, apart from closing post-secondary education for a while. What a "disaster" for people's lives.
