A few days ago I remembered the name of a game that has been a legend and to this day still has active players at all times, so today I will make a small review of what has been my first experience of playing it. The name of this wonderful and challenging game is: **Tibia**.

I am not sure about the exact date of its development, but it is a **pretty old game**, I think it was **developed around the year 2000**. I was barely 3 years old at the time. The curious thing is that this game, in spite of its great success, can be highlighted as an **Indie game**.

I don't know anything about the history of this wonderful game. After you register on the official site of the game and verify your account, it's time to play.

Our character appears in a strange place where the tutorial takes place and after finishing the tutorial, our character is transported to an island that has 4 exits. Each exit allows you to try a different kind of vocation. There are the **paladins**, the **warriors**, the **druids** and the **mages**.

In this type of videogames I always decide for distance classes, like archers and wizards, but I prefer archers. Paladins would be the substitute for archers and they have all kinds of distance weapons, from spears to crossbows, there are probably more weapons that I don't know yet.

# <center>Gameplayability </center>

One thing I realized when I started, is that Tibia is probably the most difficult game I have ever played. In a single day I was killed more than 10 times by monsters and also by some players. I wanted a challenge and I created my character in a Hardcore PvP server, anyone can kill you and if they do, your level decreases a lot. I went up to level 13 and then a player killed me so many times that I went back to level 8 and all the time I had spent raising my character's skills, they were worthless. But little by little you get used to it and learn to be more reserved.

Right now I was able to go up a little more to level 17, although in the image you can see that my level is 16 because obviously, I was killed again. Even in the part of the inventory and equipment, you can clearly see that I don't have the lower part of the equipment, indeed, my pants were stolen. At the beginning it was quite annoying to die, but right now I've gotten used to it a little bit.

This game is not for just any player, it is a fairly challenging and fairly classic game. I have to admit that I have loved the little time I have been playing. If you have experience in Tibia, I would love to get some advice about this game as I plan to play it a little more often.

# <center>Visual Section</center>



Visually for me it's a pretty nice game with its classic pixelart-style 2D graphics. It is a game that visually reminds me of several games like Terraria, Habbo and even the Stardew Valley. When a game has graphics as nice as these, I always end up being delighted.

Earlier I said that it is a game that is not for all types of players and the graphics section is one of the reasons. Nowadays there are games with incredible graphics that resemble reality and many of the players have adapted to the evolution. For those players seeing these graphics can be overwhelming, it could even cause them eye pain.

# <center>Soundtrack</center>

It is interesting and strange but this game does not have any sound or music. It is so old that they didn't implement the sounds and it was so successful that the game remains that way until today.

It is curious that such an old game has enchanted me, although I still have a long way to go.

Hace unos días recordé el nombre de un juego que ha sido una leyenda y hasta el día de hoy sigue teniendo jugadores activos a todas horas, así que hoy haré una pequeña reseña de lo que ha sido mi primera experiencia al jugarlo. El nombre de este maravilloso y desafiante es: Tibia.


No estoy seguro de la fecha exacta de su desarrollo, pero es un juego bastante antiguo, creo que se desarrolló por el año 2000. Yo apenas tenía 3 años de nacido en ese entonces. Lo curioso es que este juego a pesar de su gran éxito, se puede destacar como un juego Indie. 

Sobre la historia de este maravilloso no sé absolutamente nada. Después de registrarte en la página oficial del juego y verificar tu cuenta, es hora de jugar.

Nuestro personaje aparece en un extraño lugar en el cual se da lugar el tutorial y después de terminar el tutorial, nuestro personaje es transportado a una isla que posee 4 salidas. Cada salida te permite probar una clase de vocación distinta. Existen los paladines, los guerreros, los druidas y los magos. 

En este tipo de videojuegos siempre me decido por clases a distancia, como lo son los arqueros y los magos, pero por preferencia prefiero a los arqueros. Los paladines vendrían a ser el sustituto de los arqueros y cuentan con todo tipo de armas a distancia, desde lanzas hasta ballestas, probablemente hayan más armas que aún no conozco.

# <center>Jugabilidad</center>

Una cosa de la que me percaté al iniciar, es que probablemente Tibia sea el juego más difícil que haya jugado. En un solo día llegué a morir más de 10 veces por parte de los monstruos y también de algunos jugadores. Yo quería un reto y cree mi personaje en un servidor Hardcore PvP, cualquier persona puede matarte y si lo hace, tu nivel disminuye una barbaridad. Subí hasta nivel 13 y luego un jugador me mató tantas veces que volví al nivel 8 y todo el tiempo que había invertido subiendo las skills de mi personaje, no valieron para nada. Pero poco a poco te acostumbras y aprender a ser más reservado.

Ahora mismo pude subir un poco más hasta el nivel 17, aunque en la imagen se puede ver que mi nivel es 16 porque obviamente, me mataron otra vez. Incluso en la parte del inventario y equipamiento, se puede ver claramente que no tengo la parte inferior del equipo, efectivamente, me robaron los pantalones. Al principio fue bastante molesto morir, pero ahora mismo ya me he acostumbrado un poco.

Este juego no es para cualquier jugador, es un juego bastante desafiante y bastante clásico. Tengo que admitir que me ha encantado el poco tiempo que llevo jugando.  Si tienes experiencia en Tibia, me encantaría recibir consejos acerca de este juego ya que planeo jugarlo un poco más seguido.

# <center>Apartado Visual </center>

Visualmente para mi es un juego bastante bonito con sus gráficos clásicos 2D al estilo pixelart. Es un juego que me recuerda visualmente a varios juegos como el Terraria, Habbo e incluso el Stardew Valley. Cuando un juego posee gráficos tan bonitos como estos, siempre termino encantado.

Anteriormente dije que es un juego que no es para todo tipo de jugadores y el apartado gráfico es una de las razones. En la actualidad existen juegos con gráficos increíbles que se asemejan a la realidad y muchos de los jugadores se han adaptado a la evolución. Para esos jugadores ver estos gráficos puede ser abrumador, incluso les podría provocar un dolor en los ojos.

# <center>Banda Sonora</center>

Es interesante y extraño pero este juego no posee ningún sonido ni música. Es tan antiguo que no implementaron los sonidos y tuvo tanto éxito que el juego permanece así hasta el día de hoy. 

Es curioso que un juego tan antiguo me haya encantado, aunque aún me queda un gran camino por delante.
