## The platform where you can tokenize yourself


After months of intense and hard work we are proud to announce that we are getting very close to launching the Personal Tokens Platform. **The launch of the new platform is planned for the 11th of September 2018** so for those of you who are still not familiar with the idea of Personal Tokens – there is still time to find out more about it [here](https://steemit.com/future/@personaltokens/personal-tokens-might-soon-change-our-society). 

### What’s coming ?

The Personal Tokens platform will be a place where you can create your personal token in an easy and intuitive way by simply verifying yourself  in several ways, e.g. via Facebook, Google +, LinkedIn and MetaMask. Our goal is to create the place that gathers the owners of personal tokens and provides them with as many tools as they may need for promoting them and reaching their potential users. To put it simply - the Personal Tokens Platform can be described as something like CoinMarketCap, Facebook and Amazon for personal tokens where you will be able to find information about tokens, their owners, products, services, prices and much more.

PERSONs are utility tokens that can be used to buy additional services on our platform. But most importantly, they can be used as a lottery ticket which will allow holders to randomly withdraw personal tokens from the PERSON FUND -  the smarcontract that holds 1% of newly created tokens from each tokenized user. So potentially our utility token may give you a chance to draw personal tokens that could be much more valuable.

<br>Tokens used as a lottery tickets will be burned. As a result of this, the number of PERSON tokens will systematically decrease and their purchasing power will grow, which should result in an increase of their value. The total number of PERSONs issued will be 10 000 0000 0000 which is the estimate population of Earth in 2050.

Hi @lamboland  At this time, verification is only possible min. in 3 available ways (to choose from: Facebook, LinkedIn, Google), including MetaMask. This is because we want to be sure that a token is backed by a real person.
