I have confidence in the future of Steem but I have also powered down alot. My reasons for power down came from dealing with users such as Bernie Sanders who abuse the platform and dictate. I figured if I power down I can get rid of it when the time is right. I love the platform but I hate dictators. There are internal battles within steem that create a bad environment. For now though its still the counter culture "go-to"platform.
