Spanning over 6 years since it's conception and consisting of 4 different shows, the Arrowverse has inevitably accumulated its fair share of forgotten characters, most of whom left their show's city for one reason or the other and haven't been seen again. A few are presumed dead... But might be they are not. These are comic book shows, and death is temporary. Especially when there was no body.
Of course, the real reasons many of these are no longer on the shows have more to do with the studio and the actor/actress than the story, but we won't be looking into those. Let's look instead at the character within the arrowverse, how he/she might return and if we want them to.
## 1. The Huntress
The first on this list is Helena Bertinelli, aka The Huntress. Do we want her to return? Absolutely! Helena began her journey in season 1 of Arrow as a love interest of Oliver who quickly joined him as a vigilante, and just as quickly, went off the rails. She ran off and returned several times during the coursr of the firat two seasons, returning finally in season 2 to complete what she'd started and exact her vengeance on her father. The end of that episode, however, met her in deep remorse. She was taken into custody after this, though according to the arrow season 2.5 comics, was briefly let out to assist the arrow in a takedown. Nothing more has been said of her since.
## 2. McKenna Hall
Speaking of Oliver's love interests from Season 1, we can't forget the lovely and incredibly capable detective costa who was assigned to bringing down the Green Arrow at the same time she was dating Oliver Queen. After being shot by the Huntress in season 1, she had to leave Star City and head to Coast City where she could get therapy and be cared for by her sister. She hasn't been mentioned ever since.
## 3. Patty Spivot
Another love interest, but this time of Barry Allen. Patty joined the CCPD in season 2 of The Flash, and not long after, she and Barry began to date. However, the relationship was short lived. Pat is assigned to the Anti-Metahuman-Task-Force, and she discovers that Barry is the Flash. When Barry denies it, she decides to quit and move away from the city. Though there were a lot of mentions about her during the remainder of the season, they all ceased immediately Iris declared she was in love with Barry. And nothing was said of her again.
## 4. Linda Park
Another love interest, and the last on my list. Linda Park is actually the name of two characters: one being Barry's first love interest and the second being her doppleganger from Earth-2, the supervillain Dr. Light. She was also one of the first outsiders Barry revealed his secret identity to. While Dr. Light ran to Earth-1 to escape Zoom (and is still somewhere out there), Cisco had a similar costume made for Linda in an attempt to capture the speedster, complete with tech equivalent of her metahuman doppleganger's abilities. After the attempt failed, Cisco got the costume back and Linda left for Coast city... Never to be spoken of again.
## 5. The Hawks (Hawkman and Hawkgirl)
Last on our list for today, the disappearance of these two characters was a bit of a disappointment, especially after the long fanfare their introduction had on the Flash, straight through the Arrowverse crossover to the first season of Legends of Tomorrow. They both decided to leave the Legends at the end of the season to spend some quality time together, free of the curse and of their nemesis, Vandal Savage.
