Small Battles Win the War

I'm probably repeating myself a lot, but I find something very important to realize, adapt, and react BEFORE it's too late... I think that that's called to be PROACTIVE...

I remember one specific moment which happened this year in March-April when all this virus thing began... I have a friend in Germany, who isn't aware of cryptocurrencies, but he knew that I work with them for a couple of years... Well, he called me in those moments and asked me what are the good options to secure wealth, as in those moments money printing was going in 24/7 (which is probably happening all the time, but they don't talk about it)... 

My friend isn't a millionaire, but still, he wanted to "secure the value" that he had in those moments... As I was in a similar situation as he, I had the same dilemma... which way to go... I was thinking about two options that were (and still are) available at that moment, buying gold or buying cryptocurrency... 

I have suggested him to go half of his money in both options, and diversify his risk... Also, I have explained to him the risks of investing in crypto and volatility, but also telling that at THAT moment, crypto is heavily undervalued and that he should go into it... Also, important thing is that investing in gold (not large amounts) is more like a "wealth protection" thing, and investing in crypto is more like an investment... that has risks to go down, but also the possibility of large gains... 

As for him, investing in crypto was "too complicated" and he was searching for a mode to ONLY "protect" his wealth, he went with 100% gold purchase... At those moments, I did buy a small gold bar just to "test the water", but I went on a "buying spree" of Bitcoin... I have started when its price was around 6K, and I finished my investing when it went to 9-10K... Of course, I had some crypto portfolio from before, but at THAT specific moment, I felt "forced" to go into crypto to protect my finances... 

Well, this is a kind of thank you post for this **virus crisis** as if there were no money printing, I probably wouldn't invest more fiat money in crypto... 

Similar things are happening at these very moments... The crisis didn't finish, and I would say that we are at the beginning, or even BEFORE the beginning, and it is still not too late to make some PROACTIVE moves to protect yourself from different scenarios that can (and probably will) come in a very near future... 

Turn off your television, go outside for a walk and observe... Observe buildings, shops, people... You don't have to start a conversation with anyone, just observing things and surrounding with your own eyes will help you a lot to sort your mind and think about your next move...

We are living a virus crisis at the moment but the much worse crisis is still before us. I think it really is a matter of time before the castle of cards will come tumbling down. When more and more businesses have to close and when even the help of the state can't come up with the needs of people. It's worriesome to see people cue in front of dumpsters just to get food on the table but I believe that this is something that we will see more and more...

At the moment the crypto world is the only place that is giving a kind of hope for the economic future. It's a kind of safeguard that will be there when nobody trusts fiat money anymore or when there is no fiat money around...

Well said Zoltan, we need to be proactive so that we have a ready solution for when we really need it, and crypto is most definitely a solution that will be needed so starting as soon as possible is the right move.

And I would also add earn crypto, don't buy it unless you have some money to spare, you don't buy Euros or Dollars you earn them so earn crypto and keep on building that income higher and higher.

But if you do have the money to spare so you can buy crypto without risking what you can't lose then go with Dollar Cost Average strategy, just my opinion.

This is not just a great post and message, it is a wake-up call. This is facing reality, seeing things for what they are.

The scenes you describe in your video are heart-breaking, but that is the reality we are facing. A sad thing is that we still have people who think it cannot happen to them.

Earlier today I also read a post on the blockchain where the author mentions that sometimes it is difficult to discuss money matters with friends and family and it is a sensitive topic. And I totally get it. You don't want to be "pushy", yet you don't want to feel regret later for not talking to these people.

It is good to see that you had the opportunity to speak to your friend Germany. At least he took some action, but the difference in the choices the two of you have made tells a story of its own.

You are so right about this! It is always like that, especially with family and friends... We are all shy and embarrassed to talk about these things, but on the other side, ignoring the topic and being unprepared is even worse... 

I had exactly that "pushy" feeling when I was talking with my friend... I wanted to shout to him to BUY THAT CRYPTO loud as I can, but I didn't want to make things even worse... Also, there is a responsibility aspect, as nobody really knows how will (would) all this develop... and the CHOICE has to be HIS... Like MY choices are made by me and nobody else... I love that statement: "We are the solution, not the problem."

I believe this in my whole heart that we are. It takes some longer to see that within themselves, but more of us are starting to understand that. Times right now are very uncertain & it is NOW that we should be proactive in our future, not just our own but for all of us....

I refuse to accept the term "new normal" because this is not normal. When we start saying & using that phrase, for me, it means we are giving up on speaking up & BEING the change we want...

I will never give over power to someone who takes away my freedoms (or tries to). The power is in ALL of us & this is when we need to speak up & have compassion for one another, even when it gets hard...

Doing the small things, as you said, are great steps in that direction. Speaking personally, I am so glad I started investing in crypto & really educating myself on things. This allows me to secure my future somewhat as well as exercise my own power. For some reason, that gives me a little comfort...

All of this is why I speak up on my platform as you do & why we all try to plant the seeds to help people empower themselves & wake up. Yes, it is a difficult time right now, but there is still time to do so much good & transform the dark into light...:)

I know that I sound like a parrot, and if someone search for my older posts and comments, it will find my words that **crypto will play a crucial part** in this crisis in which we are living... I'm saying that for the last couple of months, and with every next day I'm more and more convinced that it is like that... 

Luckily, if we take a look between the period that I have described in the post and today, we will notice a difference between a lot of things around crypto... Not just Bitcoin has reached double the price after only 6 months, but also the atmosphere around crypto, in general, is much better and healthier... 

On the other side, unfortunately, the other side is visible... The part that I was talking about in the video... and that's the reality that people want to hide, or ignore...
