And once again, all out of fear. "They don't fit in here", "there would be problems", "they won't learn our language". Judging people they never even met. We heard the same a lot in Germany last year. When the refugees were there, most people realized that it isn't as bad as they expected and calmed down. I live right between two refugee camps, and got to know some amazing people over the last months. After hearing their stories I was glad they finally found a place to get some rest. The most hilarious statement is the one from the mayor, it'd be better for the refugees when they're hosted near their home countries. Easy to say that from your small "lovely village".
