This is a new cryptocurrency project I'm really excited about, there's so many idea's that are changing the rules and pushing the boundaries of what cryptocurrencies can do and accomplish.

<h1>I'm no expert but I think Manna is going to be one of them</h1>

They are exploring new territory and I think ideas like this around really going to change the world. I feel like they've taking steem to the next level. In stead of distributing daily rewards based on votes and content, they are going to distribute weekly rewards to everyone signed-up. Just for being a living human being anywhere on the planet. They are referring to this a a Universal Basic Income. It's a great idea, I think there way to early to actually fully succeed in the function, but they are going to break new ground and pave the way and I'm excited to be part of it and see what's going to happen. I think blockchain idea's like this will truly change the world.

They have the added feature of trying to support charity. Since of course not everyone who signs up will 'need' this universal basic income or feel comfortable keeping it all to themselves. They are working on a feature to allow users to distribution any portions divided as you see fit to other account and registered charity projects. So not only will this directly benefit many people worldwide who may really 'need' it, it will also benefit some great charities.

They are just starting with the distribution of Manna Tokens on March 1st and will be weekly thereafter. The amount has not been set and will vary based on the amount of active users. Of course you would expect the amount will be much higher at the early stages. It appears by summer they will also be rolling out much of there other more advanced and social features, which will really add another layer to the platform. Like I said I'm really excited to see where this goes and be a part of it.

If you do sign up, be aware it's a two set process. First you need to make and register your account using your email address. Then next step is confirming your identity and registering for your UBI distribution. They require your full name, address and cell number, but nothing beyond that or no ID's or Bills etc. The process seams to be instant for Canadians and US citizens, but a few of my international friends have had a delay in verification.
