## Vanilla Music

I like the design of this mentioned open-source media player. Where is, simplicity is beauty. It has simple user interface where almost of the features are all accessible from the top portion of the application. Lastly, a bunched of features that can be modified by the user of the application.

### Suggestion
My suggestion for this open-source application is to add a **Grid View features for the listing of music from different category, like album, tracks, genre, etc. aside from the current List View.** 

Switching from different view, like **List View** to **Grid View** or vice versa is an amazing features where some of the user prefer to use the **Grid View** than to the usual **List View**. Another thing also, **Grid View** is common for viewing *Album* list.

The latest version of the application support one view only, which is the mentioned **List View** type.

> The **List View** under *Artist category* which is showing the name of the music artist of all music files that stored in my device.

### Importance
The **List View** is not bad, but switching from different view is a good feature for *Vanilla Music Player*. The **List View** is more on about showing the list of music, but the **Grid View** is much more interesting as it focus more on design where the music listed side by side while showing the photo icon embedded.

The fact that, there are some user like me, which is relying most of the photo icon and not on the text. There are some people that can tell already the title of the album by seeing only the photo icon available for the album. The advantage also of looking only the photo, like for instance, I see the photo Elvis Presley, then by seeing only the photo, I can tell already the album inside. The situation I mentioned, for me, it fits more on **Grid View** type.
