**Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!**

Although the average elevation of Krakow is just a bit over 200 m (some 700 ft), there are actually many places here that offer some nice panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. The most famous ones, for example, include the Krakus Hill, the Kosciuszko Hill, the Pilsudski Hill and the Wanda Hill. I have been to all of them and the views from the top of those hills are really great but the problem is that these places are very popular with both the locals as well as the visitors of the city so you can rarely enjoy some peaceful moments of privacy up there. 

Fortunately, however, there are also some nice elevated places here in Krakow that most people don´t know about and thus are never crowded. A few of such places can be found just above the Bednarski Park in the Podgorze neighborhood of the city. That´s also where my favorite viewpoint is and where I often come to enjoy the undisturbed panoramic views of the city and also to hunt for sunset photos for my golden hour photography series. I was there yesterday too but I arrived a bit too early so instead of waiting for the sunset shots, I decided to go for a panoramic shooting. Not the best timing I guess as the sun was already quite low, facing me and my camera directly, but I figured the overexposed sky could actually make for some interesting background for the panoramic pictures. Let me now show you some of them.

As you can see in the photos, this part of the city is now covered in lush greenery again, which is such a welcome change after the super long and gray winter when the landscape looked so dull and depressive. I think the fresh spring robe fits the city much better :)
