**Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!**

Let me start out by wishing a very happy Easter Sunday to everyone. I know this Easter is very unusual and many of us cannot spend it as we traditionally do but let´s try and enjoy the holiday as much as we can, despite the pandemic.

Even on this special festive Sunday, however, I don´t want to miss out on my tradition of contributing to the golden hour series so here is my today´s entry.

We are still under a very strict stay-at-home order here on the Azores Islands so instead of sharing something fresh with you, I had to dig up my photo archives again and this time around, I dived really deep - all the way down to the spring of 2014 when I took this photo in Malta. As far as I remember, it was actually a sunrise, not a sunset, and I took the shot from the balcony of our apartment in Marsalforn, a picturesque little town located in the northern part of the Gozo Island.

In most of my recent Sunday posts, I also shared some of my personal thoughts on various themes and I might actually make this a tradition too as Sunday is the last day of the week and thus provides a good opportunity to look back at the week that has just passed and reflect on some of the happenings and events of it through a free write. 

In this post, I would like to share a few words on the topic of unity on Hive. 

A few days ago, I witnessed (and got involved in) a very heated opinion exchange between the representatives of one of my favorite applications and a group of people (including some very renowned names) here on Hive. I don´t really want to stir up any emotions again so I am not going talk about any details, about who did/said what etc. but this affair made me think about the general question of unity on Hive so let me share my take on it here. 

I think even on Steem, we were actually not that large as a community. As well all know, some people decided to stay over there, which means we are even smaller now than we were before the hard fork and yet, we continue to argue, quarrel and fragment even further instead of trying to unite and work together. I believe being able to overlook personal disagreements and antipathies is necessary (at least to a certain extant) if we really want to make Hive a great place. So let´s try to suppress our egos for a wile, take a positive approach and focus on building together instead of bickering. 

Let´s act like one big team for a while. Let´s act like a real hive.
