Is there a time in your life when you feel confused about the next steps you need to take to achieve your goals? It happens to me often, usually for two reasons: sometimes I simply don’t know what to do when I face a challenge I’ve never encountered before, and other times there are too many possible options, leaving me unsure which one to choose. In those moments, I usually pause and try to understand the potential outcome of each choice before making a decision.

I often wish we had unlimited time to make these pauses and carefully analyze our next steps. However, the more time we take, the more complicated things seem to become. Sometimes, the pause itself creates difficulty because as we wait, even more options appear, making the decision-making process even harder.

So, whenever I feel frustrated that things aren’t going as planned, I simply make a decision and choose the option that I believe will bring me closer to my goal—whether or not it turns out to be the best solution. These are the moments when I feel relieved to have acted, but at the same time, I’m left with a lingering fear that I might have made the wrong choice.


Every choice, whether right or wrong, becomes a lesson that shapes the person we are becoming.
