Security Token Offering approved by BaFin

Bitbond, a blockchain business operating from Berlin, Germany announced its first (and the first in Germany) Security Token Offering approved by BaFin (German SEC equivalent). Interesting development and surprise, surprise, it's not on Worbli (self styled financial services platform) but uses Stellar infrastructure ;)

The STO looks like participating debenture - unsecured 10 years bond paying interest of 4% per annum plus variable component paid annually amounting to 60% of pre-tax profits of Bitbond Finance.

Interest (in EUR terms) is quite decent plus there is a potential for extra income from profit-sharing, but 10 years in this sector is like geological epoch so the risk is quite significant. From the other hand early buyers will get 30% discount so if everything goes right for 0.7 EUR invested now, you will get a bond worth 1 EUR paying 4% per annum and repayable in full at maturity.
