Rest Day And Testing Out The Bike Side Mirror

Hello everyone 😁 how was your day today? I am back once again to report on my actifit activity today yay 😁

The twilights nowadays really are beautiful. I just can't get enough of them. This was the scene that I saw when I got into our wharf this morning. Just a stunning view as always.

One thing that stood out this morning was this little girl. I'm guessing shes around 12 to 15 years old based on her uniform. She was all alone in the wharf and was just sitting there facing the twilight sky. It felt like she has something going on her life coz that's the vibe that I get from her. I mean what kind of girl in their right mind would go in this dark place, alone 😅. Even though this is a public place where people can easily go in and out but many bad things have happened in this place and I'm just worried about her being in such a place and time. What I'm even curious about is how the heck was she even allowed to go to school so early 😅 School starts at 8AM but she's here at 4:45AM with her complete uniform at that 😅 I think she was wary of me coz after a few minutes when I arrived she went home I guess or went to school. I'm not offended coz I do look like a rapist lol 😂 So I kinda get her reservations of sharing this place together with me 🤣

I continued on with my walk when I noticed this fisherman in the sea, so I tried to take a picture of him. I see this guy almost everyday but I still love the pictures I get from him 😍 After this there wasn't really anything more interesting to say during my morning walk.

Just before noon a parcel came in and it was the bike side mirror that I ordered online. I really needed this side mirror coz riding a bike with no side mirror is really hard. I do have a small mirror below my handle bar but it's reflection is quite far. I mean even though a vehicle is almost beside me when you look at that mirror it looks like the vehicle is still far away. Plus it's hard to use it coz it moves every time I ride through a rough road.

I went for a little ride to test out the mirrors and man it was an epic fail. Coz as you can see in the picture above, I put the mirrors almost at the center of the handle bar and what happened was I can't see a thing coz my arms was blocking the view 😅 plus the mirrors reflection is too close. It's like a zoom camera and is the opposite of my old mirror. It shows very far vehicles and shows it as it was just beside you when in fact it was quite far away. Well it has it's advantages coz you can see vehicles running fast even if they are still far away because of the zoomed in perspective but a major disadvantage as well. Because of the zoomed in perspective you can't see vehicles close to you unlike the side mirror of a motorcycle.

I moved the mirrors position and put it in the side of my longest handle bar extension as you can see above. This set-up is so-so. It works coz I can now see vehicles much more clearly than the first time I put it on but... It's still way too tight... I now felt that this product is useless in my bike coz what's the use of the side mirror if you can't see the vehicles beside you 😅 It should have been named back mirror instead of a side mirror 🤣 I was really disappointed by it and is most likely just a waste of money... Sigh...

Anyways I didn't go on for a ride today coz I wanted to rest and relax for today since I feel so tired 😅 I went to the wharf this afternoon so I can breathe in fresh air and enjoy the cold breeze 😎

After that I planned to go home but as I passed down the park I saw the big screen playing CARS so I stayed in the plaza for roughly 30 minutes before I went home 😁 So this is where my activity ends so I'll see you guys around tomorrow (hopefully)
