You should start using keyword research tools immediately. These tools will boost up your SEO knowledge for sure. 

And btw what community are you talking about? I got two SEO related communities named "SEO" & "Digital Marketing."

I use MOZ, the only thing there is that they are not the best for German keywords but for English SEO they are really good
