Steem and SBD wallets under maintenance.

# **Poloniex transfers delayed, Bitrrex wallets down, unknown status Changelly and Blocktrades.**

Warning before you send any STEEM or SBD from your wallets on steemit please verify the receiver is updated.  We had a hard-fork planned for today and most likely this is the cause. So far issues with sending to Poloniex and Bittrex have manifested. If you try to send using the bittrex or poloniex reference code provided for previous transfers the transaction doesn't show up .

Currently, users which check Bitttrex before sending will see a warning that the wallet is in maintenance mode. However, if you go to Poloniex the wallet shows that deposits are enabled. This does not mean that they will arrive. At the time of writing this article there are deposits which are stuck in pending at Poloniex also.

What does this mean for the shapeshift like services? Are Blocktrades and Changelly functional?  Is this to be expected or are there issues with the fork?

Do you get paid interest for holdin steem dollars in other wallets?(bittrex,etc) It seems like it should be based on blockchain and not the wallet you use?

I'm having issues with this as well.  For me there was no warning on Bittrex or Poloniex when I transferred, and now both are missing.  I hope it gets fixed because that's $150 which is stuck in limbo and if I don't get it, I'm fucked completely.  That was my very first ever good payout and all the SBD I have.

The issue is still ongoing, I have transactions hanging as well. I would be interested to hear if this was anticipated before the fork by @ned or @dan and if @blocktrades or @changelly are affected.

I just got my Bittrex deposit of $2, but the larger deposit of $145 to Poloniex is still missing.

It was nearly two hours ago for both xfers, and neither had a maintenance warning up when I did it.
