얼굴인식의 기본 기능은 신원 확인입니다. 신원 확인이 필요한 모든 곳에 얼굴인식이 쓰일 수 있을 것입니다. 더 나아간다면 VR세계에서 자신의 아바타를 만드는데 사용될 수 도 있을 것이라고 생각합니다.

집 현관문에서 비밀번호 대신 사용할 수 있을 것 같습니다. ATM에서 카드 없이 얼굴 인식만으로 현금 인출이 가능한 정도의 정확도라면 집 문을 여는 방법으로 사용해도 보안 상의 문제가 없을 것이라 생각합니다.

각종 시험을 볼 때 사용하게 될 것 같습니다. 매번 보통 2회 이상 감독관이 얼굴을 확인해야해서 모자도 못쓰게하는데 얼굴인식을 통한 본인확인이 가능해진다면 두번 세번 일하지 않고도 정확한 확인이 가능해지기때문입니다.
