Soneto para Lester. Un poema

Muy buenos días amigas y amigos de esta gran comunidad de Hive, quiero ofrecerles para este post un poema de estructura de soneto clásico de arte mayor con dos cuartetos y dos tercetos endecasílabos, donde resulta una introducción, un desarrollo y una conclusión.

Este soneto lo hice para dedicárselo a mi hermano menor Lester, quién falleciera en octubre de año 2018, un músico docente, ejecutante de varios instrumentos de cuerdas, compositor y director de varias agrupaciones de corte tradicional, y seguro que quedará en los mejores recuerdos de su familia, alumnos, amigos y amigas en general.

>I made this sonnet to dedicate it to my younger brother Lester, who passed away in October 2018, a teaching musician, performer of several string instruments, composer and director of several traditional groups, and it will surely remain in the best memories of his family, students, friends and female friends in general.

Sonreías entre vientos y cuerdas
y mágicos sonidos que nacían
entre tantas virtudes florecían
melodías de tan hermosa tierra

En Caracas distinguimos tu siembra
tu quena y sus bellas melodías
mandolina que siempre alumbraría
con el amor y la conciencia eterna

Tan joven y cambiaste de paisaje 
entre canto y llanto despidiéndote
y volando alto, tal cual plumaje

como  aves de paz, consagrándose
amigos se despiden de este viaje
y la amorosa luz esperándote


## Sonnet for Lester.

>You smiled between winds and strings
and magical sounds that were born
among so many virtues flourished
melodies of such a beautiful land

>In Caracas we distinguish your planting
your quena and its beautiful melodies
mandolin that would always light
with love and eternal consciousness

>So young and you changed the landscape
between singing and crying saying goodbye
and flying high, just like plumage

>like birds of peace, consecrating themselves
friends say goodbye to this trip
and the loving light waiting for you
