<html> <p><strong>Those who craft a lot mostly have a lot of paper and today I want to show you how you can make a cool shape from a simple pack of paper! I made a star but you can do every shape you want! This also makes a cool gift for Christmas! </strong></p> <p><img src="http://s11.postimg.org/m71nr9i4j/image.jpg" width="467" height="623"/></p> <p><strong>^This is my end result and of course I am going to show you how you can make yours! </strong></p> <p><br></p> <p><img src="http://s9.postimg.org/jgvqe0bsf/image.jpg" width="467" height="623"/></p> <p><strong>What you need for this project! <br> - lots of carton paper in the colors you like.<br> - A tool to make the shape ( I made a circle) <br> - Hobby knife<br> -Glue<br> -Ruler</strong></p> <p><img src="http://s15.postimg.org/5l0thsljf/image.jpg" width="467" height="623"/></p> <p><strong>Glue the paper together but only put glue on the edges of the paper! </strong></p> <p><img src="http://s10.postimg.org/s19fojcll/image.jpg" width="467" height="623"/></p> <p>^<strong>This is what you want, a big pack of paper that is glued together! You can make it as thick as you want just know that you will have to fold the paper and the thicker you go the more of the paper you can't use. </strong></p> <p><img src="http://s18.postimg.org/wnmf0nncp/image.jpg" width="467" height="623"/></p> <p><strong>I used a drafting compass to draw my circle. You can pick any shape you want but to start this for the first time this will be the easiest shape. </strong></p> <p><br></p> <p><img src="http://s18.postimg.org/hc8xp0vxl/image.jpg" width="467" height="623"/></p> <p><strong>Draw pie pieces in your circle. You can use a ruler for this! Get your hobby knife and start to cut on the lines in the paper. Go as deep as you can but don't cut the circle. Only the lines inside the circle!!! </strong></p> <p><img src="http://s3.postimg.org/q9dx1mu5v/image.jpg" width="467" height="623"/></p> <p><strong>Use your nails or your knife to lift the paper and fold it back. Not to hard, you don't want a sharp line! Just fold it back until it keeps standing up by its self. </strong></p> <p><br></p> <p><img src="http://s13.postimg.org/fa523xbfb/image.jpg" width="467" height="623"/></p> <p><strong>Keep cutting and folding all the way through your paper! You will end up with this! Don't worry about the edges of the paper, you can work on that later to make it look better! </strong></p> <p><br></p> <p><img src="http://s21.postimg.org/mhgflcbd3/image.jpg" width="467" height="623"/></p> <p><strong>If you went all the way through your paper all you have to do is glue one more piece of colored paper on the bottom of your work to close it off. It looks much better if you do this! </strong></p> <p><img src="http://s11.postimg.org/m71nr9i4j/image.jpg" width="467" height="623"/></p> <p><strong>And there you go, a wonderful piece of art that you can place anywhere you want or give to someone as a gift!
