I can draw portraits in charcoal and other media (oil), there are 2 essential things a good "doodler" should first have, which are not covered by the tutorial,
Good hand, and artistic mind. (can we call them collectively as "talent"?)

How amazingly awesome is this?!?!  
Thank you!  I'm going to give it a try. I don't have felt tips, except for the chunky sharpie markers, but I have pens and pencils.  And now that I have a prompt about where and how to start, I can't wait to see what I come up with!  :)  You're awesome!

I draw with anything I get in my hands. I also love to Doodle with fineliners, I don't know how you all would call them but you can make really small lines with them. I would love to see what you come up with Mere, please share a picture?
