Las fotografías que les muestro las tomé en las instalaciones de la Facultad de Agronomía en la ciudad de Maracay, en esta ocasión que regresé a mi casa de estudios, me encontré con este camino de color rosa y no desaproveché la oportunidad de mostrárselos y comentarles sobre este hermoso árbol que con sus flores, adorna esta senda, con las montañas al fondo. <center></center> El Pomagas o Pomalaca como le dicen en mi país, también recibe el nombre de manzana de agua, por la semejanza en la textura y sabor de sus frutos. Su nombre científico es Syzygium malaccense, es un árbol tropical y su lugar de origen es la península de Malasia y se incluye en la familia Myrtaceae, donde se encuentran otras especies conocidas como el eucalipto y la guayaba. ¡Hola! Ver ese paisaje esta mañana fue como si estuviera en un lugar muy lejos de la ciudad y realmente está cerca. A mi también me encanta esta fruta aunque no la he probado en jugo y tampoco en dulce. Voy a volver y si puedo cosechar los frutos, intentaré hacer jugo y dulce... a ver como me queda.
