ARE YOU DOING A GOOD JOB BOOKKEEPING YOUR CRYPTO?

It has become common practices for someone to lose possession of their account. It could be plain mistake or someone hack into your system and leave you with nothing. As a business owner you decide how to run your account. It does not matter how much you have in them. Make sure you save your credentials wherever you have trail in the internet.

Hive blockchain is no stranger to this occasion where a hiver lost control to their account. At the beginning it takes a lifetime for someone to understand the need of all the passwords. The picture above speaks volume. You have posting key, active key, owner key and memo key. I have to say few utilize the memo key unless what you want to say you want it encrypted.

These days we have major help to use these keys. Welcome to #Keychain, hivesigner and peaklock. I think most hivers use Hive keychain and Hivesigner to interact with their account within the blockchain. It makes the guess work a lot easier moving forward. No need to give a description on how to use each key as the pic stated each function.

The main idea is safeguarding these keys in case of something big. The advise of what you should never do. Do not share your keys through emails. I personally change my keys from steemit to Hive. I change as well my recovery account. Most folks still have steemit as recovery. Please make the change now in case something happen.

Print down your account keys and save in a safe place. As Hive is appreciating in value, your account is becoming a target. I am pretty sure in the future this may change if it is necessary.
Very soon Hive could reach a dollar value and stay there. It is so rewarding knowing quite a few developers add some blacklist to not send funds to the wrong exchange addresses.

Bad actors are everywhere and they pry on your hard earn crypto to make a low life living.
It is important to have a trust person in case something happens. Share your credentials with love one in case you no longer have the ability to make changes. Crypto is so powerful that being your own boss requires big responsibility. While Hive in your account is simply Hive, the minute you push it through exchange it will become a lot more than what you see.

Even though the past week is a slow week for Hive blockchain, around $92 million volume had been going around exchanges for Hive. This number does not take into account number for Hive-engine and other means of exchanges. Hive is more serious than ever. Take charge and protect yourself.
If you have not done anything, take time to do so.
Best thing you can do learn how to use hiveblocks.com. Learn how to use multiple front end for Hive like peakd.com, ecency.com. leofinance.io and many more. More eyes on the prize will deter bad actors away from you.
Do not click on everything you do not know. Just plainly be careful.
