Hello everyone πŸ‘‹,

Happy Tuesday, πŸŽ‰ and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I am definitely grateful for this dayπŸ’―, the second day of April 2024.So it's been another wonderful day and it's about that time to slow down, get ready for bed πŸ’€. Before that let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also what's trending in the media streets. As always thank you for reading and let's begin πŸ’¨.
So just like yesterday, I started the day with a few rounds of brisk walking πŸ‘£ around the neighborhood 🌲. A nice session and then I was back indoors for some resting and the usual house chores. It's been quite cloudy the entire day even as I walked to the shopping centre in the afternoon.
I later had my usual nap and then woke up to some cooking and news. Next it was time for the sunset walk, that went well and I made it back home safe and sound. To finish off let's quickly look at the trending stories of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Today was the closing day for most schools around the country.
On the continent, Senegal trending as Diomaye Faye  took office as new presidentπŸŽŠπŸŽ‰. He went from prisoner to president in 20 days😹.
Globally, a shocking incident in Gaza as an Israeli airstrike in Deir Al Balah, central Gaza killed at least 7 aid workers😿
They all worked for the charity, world central kitchen. They included a Palestinian, a dual American Canadian, a Brit, a Pole and an Australian😭. 
Their three cars were clearly marked  WCK on the roofs and doors. They had even given their coordinates to Israeli military but their cars were still targeted and hit with missilesπŸ™€.
Netanyahu has admitted that attack calling it unintentional.
Following the incident the charity has pulled out of Gaza. Meanwhile the UN-dubbed man made famine is getting worse especially in northern Gaza.
Over 200 aid workers have been killed in that war in the past six monthsπŸ™€.
In the other war, Ukrainian drones hit further into Russia, areas more than 1,000 kilometers inlandπŸ™€. President Zelensky still calling for more aid and weapons. The age of recruitment into the army has been lowered from 27 to 25 as they seek more recruits into the army. 
Also trending around Europe, at least 29 people killed in a fire at an Istanbul nightclub😿. Renovation works were ongoing when the fire broke out.
Across the pond in the US, UN security council members discussed Monday's attack on Iranian consulate in Syria. Israel accused of violating international law in that attack.
Meanwhile, Iran's Khamenei has promised that Israel will not go unpunished for that strikeπŸ™€. Let's wait and see how things unfold.
