In Soulkeep, I chose to approach the challenge a little differently as relying on a set of good and fast towers to stop the Fiends who appear stronger each wave.

The first tower I chose was Gloom Owl, which is fast hitting, preventing fiends from getting close to the defensive line. Its appearance may be simple, but its launch speed makes up for everything else, especially if you place it strategically at the beginning of the path.

I then tried the Charnel Pit tower, and it was something else entirely and  This tower is not only fast, but it is also extremely powerful. Its attacks are both heavy and fast, and I always placed it in the middle of the path to hit as many Fiends as possible in the middle before they reach the final line.

I also wanted to add a touch of magic to my plan so I chose the Card Sharp tower, which uses very effective magic attacks. It's very good against fiends with high defense against normal attacks. I always try to distribute my towers between physical and magic to cover all types of fiends.

Of course, no defensive plan is complete without the right spell so I used Stew of Doom, a deadly spell against large groups of fiends. When the situation gets tough and the swarm is nearing its end, I cast this spell and literally slaughter them, buying me time and reducing the pressure on the towers.

Coordination between towers and using magic at the right time is what makes the plan succeed. Each wave teaches me something, forcing me to adjust my strategy little by little. Soulkeep isn't just a tower defense game and it's a game of thinking, planning, and resource control which is mana and how to use it well to defend the gate.
