*Khamma ghanni to everyone*🙏.
My name is **Preeti Sharma**. I am from **Rajasthan** and born & bought up in **Kolkata, west bengal** and recently living in **Bangalore**. I am Marwadi & very much close to my Native place, my **village Ramsara** near Churu district in Rajasthan.
Village people are very close to nature and living very peaceful, stress less and pollution free life however it also has its own challenges. My village Ramsara is like that. In my village there are around 3500 people included all old,young and children's surrounded by the all cast of people.
In childhood I used to go my nani' s and dadi Maa's house and play in the sands and now my daughter play there whenever she go to my village.(grandparents house).
In my village two big temples are there.
There are many things which we can see only in the villages like huts, cows and cow's shed, goats, buffaloes, lawns, farms, fields, crops and the lovely ,innocent , pure hearted people.

The plain feilds-
Sands-
Huts at the village made by thatch roofs.
Thatched roof looks beautiful in the village. It is made up of dry fibres like straws, reeds or branches.
**The ber trees- Indian plum or Chinese date**.
This tress is very thorny. It's a fruit. We eat this fruits with seeds too.
We can eat the skin and seeds both of the fruits.
Usually people eat skin as the seeds are very hard to break by teeth.😅 if you have a strong sharp teeth then no problem to have seeds but it is very beneficial. This seeds are used in Ayurveda medicines.
The ripe ber fruit is very sweet in taste. They can be dried and eaten like raisins.
Decorated camels- they are going for the dessert safari.
You can sit on the camels and take a ride on the dessert. They take 100 to 150 for full ride. Even horses are also the part of safari.
Buffaloes- ar the homes. The people use to milk them and sell the milk in the cities near Village and also keep some milk at home for themselves and their families.
The cow's shed-
*This is the road surrounded by thin straws. You can see in this pic. The people built this by hand and tighten this with rope*. If they cannot afford brick or cemented boundary then they will make this type of the boundaries by straws and branches for their farms or feilds and secure the feilds from animals.
The lady is milking goat-
Actually my sister told her to milk the goat for the pic and she did by covering her half face.😄 the lady was very humble and innocent.
In my village there is a small **Aganwadi school** , one small Medicare and some shops.

People of the village lives very ordinary simple life without knowing anything about luxury and they are happy with their limited things. But now a days some more facilities are coming to the villages.
In my last trip of my village I took a pic of lady in the dress which they wear there in any occasion. She was too shy that she was not letting me to open the veil. Anyhow I took one pic without her face.😅
**The chulha- clay stove**
A few decades ago, our ancestors cook foods in this type of clay stoves. There was no gas, microwave or inductions at home. This clay chulha is replaced by gas stove and microwaves now.. however in some places of rural like my village there we still find some chulhas at house. The people still cook foods on these clay stoves.
This is not the proper stove. I will share a pic of clay chulha soon in my next trip of Rajasthan.
This one is small temporary chulha but not covered by clay. Only bricks are there, woods and cowdungs cakes are placed to burn.

One last thing of village life is the peace of sleeping on the **cot(charpai)**. Nothing can beat this cot. At village people used to sleep in this cot. No soft bed are there in most of the family , they will sleep in the charpai peacefully. And it's good for health too. It increases blood circulation and digestion and good for our backs.
You can put bedsheet or any clothe and can sleep.
