Wholewheat indian Flatbread stuffed with savory, spiced Indian cottage cheese! (Paneer Parantha)

Today I am sharing a healthy recipe of **Paneer Parantha**.   It's a popular Indian parantha made with coriander leaves and green chili. This is most famous Punjabi Parantha which is good for breakfast or even in lunch. Parantha has been an important recipe especially in North india. In every household the paranthas will be must for breakfast in India. All love to eat them without any hesitation.

**In my home my mom used to make her own Cottage cheese at home by adding lemon juice or by adding curds to the milk**. The paneer retains its freshness and softness even when uts cooked. The filling has a lovely moistness with soft texture and not feel the dryness. Paneer is most versatile ingredients available for cooking .

Top your parantha with homemade white butter and a pickle.

**Here is the method of the Paneer Parantha-**

1.in a bowl add wheat flour, salt  and add water to knead a soft dough. Grease the dough with oil and let it rest for 20 mins 

2.now in a small bowl add crumbled paneer.

3.Then add red chili powder, garam masala ,dry mango powder, green chilli, coriander leaves and cumin powder. Mix them well and keep aside.

4.Then pinch a meduim sized ball dough roll about 5 inches place prepared stuffingbin the center.

5.Take the edge and start pleating bringing to the center and press the pleats from center and then roll of a chapati size.

6.And transfer the parantha on a hot tawa and cook them from both the sides.

7.Add oil/ butterand press slightly from.both the sides and the golden brown color will come to appear.

**Finally serve hot paneer parathas with tomato ketchup, Pickle  or Curd.**

*I made this parantha for my kid so I skipped green chili. And one more important thing donot over stuff the stuffing as it may be difficult to roll and try to make them roll thin. It tastes great when they are thin*.
