My severe sarcasm aside - when you cross the line and become violent outside of the imminent defense of life, liberty, or property - you need to be held accountable no matter what your political beliefs are. Causing harm or injury to others is not acceptable for rational persons.

This is a simple principle we should all rally around. Sadly today, people use the tribalism of politics to absolve people of clearly immoral behavior. This trend must be ceased.

The sooner we all rally around the principle of "do no harm" - the sooner we will be able to unify and heal ourselves as a people. At that point - we can easily solve all of our political issues.

First I believe that everyone should have the right to express there opinion freely, no matter what!  This man should be arrrested for assault and vandalism, and made to pay for the coats he marked up.
But I do have to say something, the pentagram doesn’t necessarily mean he is a satanist.  The pentagram was the main religious symbol for pagans, which do not worship Satan but worship Mother Earth. Also early Christians wore pentagrams to signify the five senses.
