I just received another one of those messages on Discord:

Awesome, I won (again) and this totally seems to be legit, so let's click the link. I am landing on this page:

Looks like an exchange, but I don't have an account there yet, so let's create one. I am entering my (of course real) email address and a great password (asdasd123) and click on register. Ah great I don't even have to verify my email address - that is always so annoying anyways. After all one page trusts me! Oh and they are even concerned about my security and warn me to check the SSL connection:

In their message on Discord they told me to go to the CODES page and enter my code, so I will do that:

Ok I didn't really send any BTC, as you may have guessed. I suppose many of you, who are using Discord, have gotten a similar message before. I am getting them regularly, from accounts which will show as "Deleted" shortly after. I just tried to message the account, which sent the message to me, but messaging the account doesn't work unfortunately:

After all of the above steps one should have been wondering at least 5 times and realized that this is a scam. Still some people seem to be falling for such schemes, otherwise they wouldn't be popping up all the time. I guess a lot of people have recently joined in on crypto and propably some of them may be falling for such schemes. So spread the news and always be curious when dealing with crypto sites.
