Great Minds, 
Every organisation or society has a guiding rules or laws that regulate their activities. And there is always sanctions or say punishment for going against the regulations.  If you go against the rules, be sure to get the hammer unless it is an organization that  is a bit flexible to an extent and perhaps forgive first offender. My encounter with @airhawk-exchange this evening offered a good example of **know the rules of wherever you enter** hence this post.

MY ENCOUNTER WITH AIRHAWK-EXCHANGE 

Airhawk-exchange is an escrow service that provide a platform for exchange of steem and sbd with local currency such as Naira (Nigerian money). This evening I joined their whatsapp group. I  was actually on their telegram group for long and I transacted through their telegram group though then I sold Sbd not buy. 

But today, I decided to use the whatsapp group to buy sbd. I  was actually ignorance of their rule.  All I thought was that since they are escrow account, that the seller transfer the amount he wants to sell to the airhawk-exchange using my username @princeso as memo.  Then I pay him and after he confirms payment, he would ask admin of airhawk-exchange to release the sbd tome the buyer. But this time I was wrong. Though that was exactly how it took place in their telegram group when I sold and through their platform. 

I was later told that it is different when it comes to buyer. I  needed to register as buyer and be verified first. I was supposed to take permission from them before placing a buy order. 

But before then, I  was already fallen victim. There was a seller who advertised his price and had two sbd for sale. I simply told him to transfer to escrow and use my username as memo. He did transfer, then I made the payment. Unfortunately for me that was not the rule. As I waited to receive the sbd but it was a fiasco. The seller had confirmed receipt of payment and asked the admin to release the 2 sbd but it never come.  

It was after much pleading that I  was attending to and told I went against the rules guiding airhawk-exchange. Well I pleaded and pleaded and thank God they were such a good organization. They eventually released the sbd to me. It was not funny on me oh as I was practically begging. Well I have learnt and it is a very good lesson for me. 
I am grateful and I say thank you to airhawk-exchange for pardoning my ignorance and did not use the full hammer on me.

LESSEON LEARNT

if you go to a place please try and learn the rules and regulations there. Don't just bump in and started playing along. It takes nothing to find out the rules and follow accordingly but it can cause you a lot when you assume and later go against the rules.
