The first time I knew about how amazing being around **[nature]()** can be, I have always found myself appreciating its wonders and how bright it could make an individual become once he or she is around mother nature. I have always seen and passed through nature before but it doesn't occur to me how grateful it is to be blessed with such an amazing gift from God.

Nature is wonderful. It is charming and full of colours to brighten one's mood. In fact, being around flowers of different kinds would make you feel nourished, alive, and positive. I remembered the first time I sat under the big coconut tree in my hometown, I felt so unmotivated before then. I had wanted to make a post but there was no inspiration and the heat that afternoon affected my mood. So I started feeling frustrated, nauseous and aggressive toward my siblings. Since I wasn't doing anything inside, I decided to try out sitting at a spot which my Dad loves so much and I found it therapeutic because ideas started flowing in. The fresh and natural air did justice to my body and I could feel the warmth it brought afterwards which made me flow into writing that day.

Also, the feeling of **[empathy]()** is imbibed in my gene as I love to put others into consideration including animals. Some months ago, I visited my sister in the busy city of Lagos and I felt for this pretty cat when I got to her place.

We were both outside when we started gisting and sharing memories. I am someone who is scared of animals but I feel for them because they have feelings just like us. This cat looked so sad and hungry and it is for my sister's next-door neighbour. We couldn't get her food to eat as the owner wasn't around and we felt bad for her too. Empathy is having feelings for the other person and being in their shoes. The truth is, we all have things bothering every one of us and seeing someone with a challenge should make us feel for them and not think it isn't our concern to care. There are times I have feed animals around me with my leftover meals because I know how they struggle too just like we,  human beings and how they go hungry especially when they have toiled every place and aren't satisfied. They have feelings and so, being empathetic is a sign of love and this should radiate in our lives.

There are people who wouldn't want to open up to you when they are facing some difficult situation, but being a thoughtful person would help you notice their mood, observe how they act and choose to react in a purposeful manner to them. I love making people smile and when I notice your bad mood, I don't hesitate to find something positive for you. Do you have something they lack? It's better and happier when you share things with them. It has always been my way of showing that I care about others and not think only about myself because I would say it is unfair to make provisions for yourself alone and not see how others are fairing. Being thoughtful has earned me respect and love from people. 
</div>

There is always a great reward in showing that you care for another being because, what other way can we make the world a better place than by making another person happy, keep smiling and giving them positive compliments to keep them hopeful and alive?
