Have you noticed that the eyes of herbivores, always located on the sides of the head, and carnivores – always on the front part?
In nature, it is not by chance, but by strict natural selection. From herbivores survived only those who controlled around themselves as much space and had time to notice the creeping predator. Eyes in some species are so "crawled" to my ears, that if one herbivore blind spot view "more" in the back of his head, then the other "have" – right in front of the muzzle. And to turn to you the whole face and look at you with the Central vision it will be only if you really are of special interest to it.
Predators use binocular vision for a completely different purpose. Due to the resulting triangle (2 eyes and the object of interest), the brain of a carnivorous animal calculates the distance to the victim. The sharper the angle, the top of which is the goal – that means it is farther away. Accordingly, for a successful attack will need to invest more strength in the throw and chase. And while herbivorous walks back and forth on the lawn, the brain of the predator, in the online mode and counts after each step counts a whole bunch of parameters: the distance to the target, the kind of animal (it depends on what kind of a "species" it will be saved), the General physical condition of the victim (it depends on how actively it will run away or fight for their lives), the presence of other animals (which can stand up for the "shaken" tribesman), terrain, the availability of places of salvation for the victim (trees, bushes, holes, ponds, etc.). and so on) composition and consistency of the soil surface, time of day, weather conditions, the presence or absence of hunting partners, your physical condition, in the end...
And as soon as the doomed approaches the distance, enough to make a successful throw-the predator immediately uses his chance...
Probably, it will be superfluous, after the above, to go into details and explain why the brain of predators, and has a greater mass in relation to body weight than herbivores and is arranged much more difficult. And look.... Predator always gives a look. Remember the eyes of the wolf, eagle, Jaguar.  Clear, clear, sharp, aiming looking...  Love it!!!  People I also, conventionally, are divided into carnivores and herbivores. I consider myself a predator. So before you write something - first answer yourself the question: do you look at life with the thought "as if I did not eat" or with the thought " who would I eat today?"...
