Yes it is indeed .. The Ethereum community executed a  soft-fork, then a hard-fork in order to bail those goofy folks out.  Then some other goof balls tried to further divide the ETH community, between those who were ok with the forks and those who were not, by refusing to fork, even though the majority were clearly in-favour..  and their childish revenge was creating this other version of ETH ... meanwhile, I think the original attacker of The DAO, got away with the original theft ..  which many believe was at least in-part, an inside job.

Too much drama ..
