Saludos muchachones pacificadores de la comunidad Science Fiction, en este Post hablare de los distintos usos de los cascos usados en la serie de Peacemaker, habrá spoilers y cumplo con advertir ya que son necesarios para poder dar a entender los funcionamientos de cada casco y si son factibles en la vida real.

Este buen personaje cuando vi la Serie me sorprendió totalmente porque pensé solo era un buen luchador y muy hábil con el uso de armas pero resulta que el personaje tiene un plus que fue explotado migaja a migaja durante varios episodios que son sus cascos.

Su padre Auggie Smith es la mente brillante tras el diseño y elaboración de estos cascos, a mi entender es un Ingeniero con mucho conocimiento en física y otras ramas asociadas a la Ingeniería aunque algunos cascos se pudiera decir que también tienen conocimiento en otras áreas como biológica.

De aquí parte la ciencia ficción porque cada casco tiene un uso distinto bastante surreal, hay tradicionales y los especiales, en estos últimos son en los que haremos mas énfasis desde un punto de vista de Ingeniería o lo que se pueda porque hay uno en particular que es hilarante.

Algo a destacar es que todos los cascos tienen una Paloma Blanca símbolo de la Paz, desde un punto de vista de ingeniería no importa pero se me hace divertido resaltar eso porque va con el tono del personaje. Ahora si vamos con los tipos de cascos:

* Casco Tradicional del Peacemaker: no hay mucho que hablar, totalmente factible la realización y uso de este casco ya que cumple el mismo objetivo de cualquier casco en la vida real, proteger la cabeza del usuario contra lesiones.

Los Cascos Especiales si que tienen mucho a contar y analizar para ver si pudieran pasar de la ciencia ficción a la realidad. Un detalle que se repite en distintos cascos especiales del Peacemaker es que pueden liberar una especie de campo de fuerza que rodea al usuario y acorde al uso especifico del casco, este campo varía su influencia en el portador. Son los siguientes:

* Casco Sarna del Peacemaker: así como suena, es un casco que le da sarna a alguien porque es muy confuso cuando lo explican. Auggie dice que le da Sarna al portador pero luego Peacemaker dice que da Sarna a personas en un radio de distancia aproximado a 1 Kilometro.

Independientemente de si es al usuario o a personas externas dentro de un rango del casco pienso que es posible la realización de este casco ya que pudiera tener un compartimiento que libere a los ácaros que producen la sarna, sobre el usuario sería muy sencillo hacerlo ya que pudieran tener un compartimiento y simplemente liberarlos, lo complicado sería proyectarlos en otras personas, ya esta parte es la que si veo complicada pero no imposible si pudiera disparar como micro proyectiles a los ácaros. 

Un detalle de ingeniería importante es que los ácaros tienen que tener algo para comer y mantenerse vivos, entonces el casco en ese mismo compartimiento, debe tener la comida de estos organismos. Definitivamente quería empezar por este casco porque es el que mas me ha hecho reír y quiero leer en comentarios que piensan de el sobre si pudiera ser posible un casco así y como pudiera proyectar a los ácaros de la sarna.

* Peacemaker Scabies Helmet: just as it sounds, it's a helmet that gives someone scabies because it's very confusing when they explain it. Auggie says it gives Scabies to the wearer but then Peacemaker says it gives Scabies to people within a distance radius of approximately 1 Kilometer.

Independently of if it is to the user or to external people within a range of the helmet I think that it is possible the realization of this helmet since it could have a compartment that releases the mites that produce the scabies, on the user it would be very simple to do it since they could have a compartment and simply release them, the complicated thing would be to project them in other people, already this part is the one that if I see complicated but not impossible if it could shoot as micro projectiles to the mites. 

An important engineering detail is that the mites have to have something to eat and stay alive, then the helmet in that same compartment, must have the food of these organisms. * Casco Torpedo Humano del Peacemaker: este casco es usado por Adebayo causando un daño letal a La Vaca ya que la portadora fue usada por el casco como un Torpedo Humano, para visualizarlo mas simple, como si fuera un proyectil.

Este Casco tiene el elemento Campo de Fuerza que rodea al usuario pero en este caso no le protege, si no que le usa para de alguna manera proyectarlo en una dirección a una gran velocidad. 

Pienso no es realizable, si se usaran elementos magnéticos para crear el campo de fuerza ya que son contados los campos de fuerza en la física, esta el Campo Eléctrico, Campo Magnético y Campo Gravitatorio por mencionar algunos de los cuales el mas factible para el uso de este casco sería el magnético, fíjense existe en Asia trenes que funcionan con desplazamiento magnético pero el gran problema sería moldearlo al cuerpo

No puedo negar que es el casco mas complicado porque no solo requiere envolver al usuario, precisa proyectarlo en una dirección, esto es lo complicado y me hace concluir que no es realizable con la tecnología actual porque requeriría que el objetivo a impactar tenga el polo opuesto magnético al casco.

* Casco Rayos X del Peacemaker: veo factible la realización de este casco, hablamos de las frecuencias en las ondas y al ubicarlas en el espectro correcto, se genera la visual de rayos X pero claro esto representaría un bombardeo constante de ondas al objetivo y un transductor en la lente que se encontraría en los ojos del casco para poder tener la visión de rayos X. Sería algo análogo a la visión térmica.

* Casco Estallido Sónico del Peacemaker: lo usa en contra de una Mariposa a la que vuelve pedazos. Parte de crear un campo de fuerza que en este caso es solo estático, ya esto es complicado como mencione anteriormente y además usar el sonido como onda expansiva energética destructora. Pienso no es factible su elaboración por el problema de base para crear el campo de fuerza que proteja al usuario, en la actualidad no existe algo para crear un campo de fuerza moldeable, el estallido sónico si se pudiera hacer, de hecho hay armas sónicas pero el campo de fuerza hace que concluya que no es realizable este casco.

* Casco Anti Gravedad del Peacemaker: La gravedad tiene un gran detalle en la física que es su polo negativo no existe, en la electricidad hay positivo y negativo, en el magnetismo polo positivo y negativo pero en la Fuerza de Gravedad solo hay positivo y si hablamos del aspecto ondas, es aun mas complicado porque para crear ondas gravitatorias se requiere una energía enorme.

Basado en lo anterior no es posible su realización, de hecho este casco tiene en su principio de funcionamiento uno de los elementos que se pudiera considerar santo grial de la física y es el negativo de la gravedad. En la serie aplica muy bien porque con polo opuesto a la gravedad de La Tierra, flotarías y solo faltaría agregar elementos que controlen la magnitud del polo negativo gravitatorio. Conclusión es que no es realizable con la tecnología actual. 

Una acotación es que soy de los que piensa la naturaleza es muy sabia y si la electricidad, magnetismo tienen dos polos, pienso que la gravedad también los tiene solo que se requieren condiciones muy especificas para que se presente sin embargo la estructura actual establece que no existe, solo dejo mis pensamientos para compartirlos con ustedes y leerlos en la caja de comentarios sobre lo que piensan de cada casco.
