If you point a microphone to a common man in my country and ask him or her their choice of country and where they’ll like to see themselves, you’ll never hear them mention their home country this is because most #Nigerian citizens find favor outside their own country more than within the country. They believe that they are better job opportunities outside their home and more over the spike at the rate of inflation that depreciated the value of the local currency(NAIRA).
Earning in dollar happens to be one of the major ways at which an average Nigerian can survive currently so, if the country doesn’t favor them anymore in other to survive, the citizens are left with no other choice but to #migrate themselves to a favorable country/region where survival is certain and a lower cost of living.

The main reason why people decide to leave the country is mainly due to hardship, insecurity, high level of #inflation, high cost of living sometimes a bad government as well. Last time I made my personal research and analysis I discovered that more than half a million citizens migrate from Nigeria to other countries annually (a year) and we have extended boundaries into different countries in the world today as long as we are accepted into the country by their embassy, we go in and dominate. Build and some people go as far as renouncing themselves as Nigerian citizens and become a citizen of that country, starting their lives all afresh and hoping to find themselves in the limelight.

Well, to me I don’t find anything wrong in the citizens of a particular country getting to migrate themselves of course they need to survive because even in the animal kingdom, certain animals will need to evacuate from certain locations during a specific time/season of the year to fend for shelter and food elsewhere in other to survive. Therefore, it is very appropriate for people to migrate as well and if it isn’t acceptable by the indigene country, they should make available the necessary things that need to be put in place that will make the ecosystem favorable for it’s citizens to retain them. It’s as simple as that.

So with that being said I will point out some things that could prevent #citizens of a country from #migrating to other countries.
First is development, creation of facilities and job opportunities. Survival is always the main cause for migration. You can’t sit in a burning pan placed on a cooking stove unless you are tied or glued to the pan but in this case we aren’t glued, so immediately the pan gets hot we move out else it’ll be something worse than we ever would have imagined. 

Secondly, lowering the cost of living. One way or the other look for a way to give back the value of the countries local #currency so the citizens can survive with little efforts and don’t need to labor so hard to put food on their tables.
